Battles, and Beardyman lead the latest acts announced for Citadel, which returns for a second year to London's Victoria Park on Sunday 17th July 2016.

The line-up new additions also include Honne, Island, Pierce Brothers, Flyte, Dagny, Hackney Colliery Band, John Langan, Barbarella's Bang Bang, Immigrant Swing, Chaps Choir, Bring Your Own Brass, Cut a Shine, Swing Patrol, Axel Flovent, Boxed In, Palace Winter, Friendly Fires (DJ Set), Kindness (DJ Set), Cal Jader & Spiritual South, Nick The Record & John Gomez, Throwing Shade, Whilk & Misky , Rat On The Roof, Disco Bloodbath DJs, Andy Smith, The Mighty Zaf, and DJ Russ Jones, plus comedy compered by Fred Ferenczi, including Ronnie Rigsby, Dane Baptiste, Sajeela Kershi, Jollyboat, Yuriko Kotani, President Obonjo, Philfy Phil Alexander, and Sounds Familiar Quiz.

They join headliners Sigur Ros, plus Caribou, Lianne La Havas, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Matt Corby, Calexico, Submotion Orchestra, Cats Eyes, Andrew Weatherall, Jazzanova, The 2 Bears, Pedestrian, Maribou State, Susanne Sundfor, Tinariwen, Akala, Matthew and the Atlas, Gogo Penguin, Billie Marten, Rukhsana Merrise, James Canty, Gillbanks, Antimony, and Cosmic Strip.

The early bird offer has ended. Tickets are priced at £49.50 for everyone attending aged 12 or over. Children aged under 12 years tickets are priced at £5.

Away from the live music programme, the festival will host chefs who'll produce a series of long table Sunday dining experiences with The Sportsman’s Stephen Harris, whilst Secret Productions' Sunday Papers Live team will host a tent of captivating literary talks, spoken word and debates.

There will also be Theatre from Old Vic New Voices, Secret Adventures, workshops with Folk Dance Remixed & Swing Patrol, the Reggae Choir, Les Femmes Circus, Charlene the Hoola Queen, Sunday sports compared by Robin & Partridge with Lost & Found, Volley Ball England, Croquet East, Disco Dodgeball, Non Applicable Dance Company, Marawa’s Majorettes Badminton Matches, Tug of War Battles, Relay Rum Races, Sock Wrestling, Musical Sack Races, Sticky Limbo Competitions, Wheelbarrow Races, Swing Olympics, Impromptu Pitch Invasions, Award Ceremonies, Comedy Referees, Roller Disco, kids activities, boutiques, drawing, painting, jewellery workshop, screen printing, relaxation, wellbeing, Yoga, massage & therapies, and more.
