All I'm saying is why would he say those comments? He could've just stopped with they've been announced for Coachella. He wouldn't be able to confirm they are playing but surely he's got some inside knowledge....

Or maybe BBC have input into who plays at Reading & Leeds, given that Radio 1 have a stage. With no lineup (apart from LG) announced, they decide to share something possibly, keep it under the radar. I thought it was unlikely for Rage to play this year until I heard this today.

Been following this thread for a while & went to Reading for 10 years from 2002-2012.
Not sure if anyone has picked up on this yet but BBC Sounds there is a mix called Handpicked By 6 Music. One of the track is Rage - Bulls on Parade.
At the end of the track - the presenter says they've been announced for Coachella & will they play a certain August Bank Holiday Festival? He then says 'maybe they will have announced it by the time you hear this'. He must have inside knowledge.
I definitely think Rage will be a headliner. Possible sub by Skepta or Dave.

Hi, my fiancee yesterday had a problem with her car & is going to cost an extortionate amount of money to get it fixed. She has now said that she can't afford to go to Bestival. So would like to sell the ticket for what she paid, £195 or nearest offers. I'm still going to the festival so can meet you there to give you the ticket. Do you think they'll be a big enough Rage (from old school fans) following to get Courteeners bottled? Haven't seen a band being bottled for about 14 years at Reading.
