Am waiting on Genveers and her +1 to decide if they are camping on the Tuesday with us, but they would need a lift sorted to the site on the Wednesday morning too

Akvavit arguably complements beer better than many other spirits, and in a drinking situation, any quantity of akvavit is usually preceded (or succeeded) by a swig of beer. Enthusiasts generally lament this practice, claiming that the beer will ruin the delicately balanced flavour and aftertaste.

Actually I was at the Ciderbus and venus was with me (witness!). I sent out text messages to 33 people reminding them as I promised to do so. From what I have heard not everybody got those messages, this I cannot be blamed for. I stayed at the Cider bus with Venus until 10.30pm and figured nobody was turning up so I wasn't going to waste any time waiting around so I decided to go to Shangri-La to get there nice and early for Hayseed Dixie, again I text 33 people to let them know, as I promised.
I tried to reply to txt message as much as I could (I was sent 53 messages in the space of 2 hours!) and I actually spent a couple of hours being pretty stressed and pissed off actually if that is any consolation to some who sent me arsey text messages. I finally caught up with Luscious Lucy, Staberinde, Molly and her mate and some other female who I don't think I was introduced to.
I felt absolutely shit for it being a complete screw up but I tried my best, the text messages cost me money as I had used a seperate pay as you talk phone for this meet which meant me buying credit and I spent valuable time trying to tell people where the cider bus was, why people couldn't ask somebody or find out beforehand actually puzzles me. I was speaking to LL on the way back to Camp Trianlge (best bunch of people ever!) and had decided to not organise a meet next year but was convinced to maybe have another go, with different arrangements that don't mean me wasting money or time texting! At no time did I not try my best and I am gutted it wasn't pulled off because I think we'd have had a blast.

Campers I need your advice....my mate has decided that she doesnt think she came come to glasto. So I have choices I have to make and would apprciate some advice. I could not go also and regret it forever (and also resent her forever!) or be brave and come on my todd although am quite scared about this! Are there any other lone females on the list? Next question is do I still bring the lux coleman big cypruss 2 bedroom, large living room and porch tent? Its quite heavy but have a sack trolly so could manage getting it to KM on my own but would need help putting it up (which I know you have already offered). With only me in it it could be used for loads of storage (firewood?) and be great shelter if it rains. OR do I borrow a smaller tent as just me now? Need some help and reassurance please!
