You can get a bacon sarnie/bap/cob/whatever for around the £3.50 mark and a cuppa tea for £1.50 ish!!!

Is there anywhere to get a nice breakfast from in the morning?
-
Set up a Scottish camp?
Are there different camping areas?
We hope to be arriving early afternoon, setting sail on Friday morning about 6ish. x

If you put a Scotish flag by your tent you won't become a target like you do if you put an England flag at titp

Yes there is a fairground.
I live off pancakes. They vary from £3 to £5!
You can get noodles for about £6 but its the hugest plate imaginable and a burger will be about £4/5.
Bottle of pop will be £2 as will a bottle of water. (Pet hate of mine that!)
Chips probably about £3. Usually cold.
It's not the cheapest food in the world. Nor is it the best. But I find I dont eat that much tbh!!

Hey, this is my first v and I'm not sure how much cash to take! I'm not taking much food, just some cereal bars, crisps, biscuits to snack on so will be eating there. I know its gonna be expensive but how expensive? Also taking some vodka but not enough for the whole weekend!
Any ideas on how much stuff will cost?
How much to take?
I also hear there is a fairground!

Me and two of my friends are coming from Dundee, too! How exciting! We've never been to V before so totally looking forward to it!

i'm always abit worried using cards at festivals if they skim your card or something you haven't really got much come back
-
it wasn;t so bad as i had ID but she was getting well hacked off
what made it even worse we saw a girl about 12 she defo wasn;t any older knocking back the breezers during Shane McGowan right next to the bar my gf was fuming

The specials -Monkey Man
dedicated to all the annoying security at V
-
think they were £15 or £20 with a bag that is a useful as a hole in asock and a programme full of adverts
-
Yep, unless you're in your 40s, you're gonna need ID. Some people are strict serving you, others are not. I've heard of people approaching 30 being refused booze at V. Not entirely likely you'll get ID'd, but do you really want to risk it?
Alternatively, leave the passport at home and insist your mates go to the bar!

getting excited n0w, which campsites best ?

Tesco have some decent deals on cider, 12 Magners for £10, 12 Gaymers, original or pear 2 for £16 and 24 Blackthorne for £9.
No decent deals on beer though, will be heading to Asda for a box case of carling.

Not so sure about the sherbert
a pint and some haggis in field charge me as much as you like for a ticket
-
Exactly - and the efest gang are looking to go out with a blast this weekend! Mind you if I'd shelled out as much as shedboy on trains, tickets and hotels I'd be pretty fooked off with people trying to burst my "ain't V great" bubble... like I said - there is plenty to keep me occupied - even if it is just avoiding some of the sh!te I don't want to see!
If The View were coming down from Dundee with him I'd be happier.
