Traditional big club is a misnomer. Football has been going professionally for 120 years ish. Out of that Liverpool have been a big club since the 70?
You do realise LFC won league titles before the 70s?
And Anfields record capacity was way before that...(which has nothing to do with much really)
You seem to look for stats/angles to suit your narrative.... ?
like it or not City are not viewed by anyone, other than City fans maybe, as one of the historical big clubs. You know this.
Anyway, what does it matter?
It doesn’t
Why do you care what others think of your club? If what they are doing currently is making you happy then fuck everyone else and fuck people’s interpretation of history. Stop getting ur knickers in a twist over nothing and enjoy it...

I don't know a single rag who wants City to win tonight.
Everyone "loves" an underdog

Come on Utd!!! Don’t “slip” up!!! ?

It really isn’t. Surely if you’re facing an enemy who can control the dead sticking everyone in a sealed chamber full of them is a daft idea?
Is it not a case that only those killed by the hands of the dead can rise/be reanimated? Or can the night king raise anyone? Or does anyone know? Thus far we have only witnessed the rise of those killed by the hands of the wights, white walkers and the night king, yeah?
Why would the night king need an army if he could just silently stroll through Westeros and raise all the dead in the ground, surprise attacking all the living and ultimately taking over the world effectively, undetected?
If he can raise any and all of the dead I would think the whole story to be majorly flawed and the night king to be tactically naive.... ?

Never seen Liverpool fans gutted after a Liverpool win and a Utd loss before! Haha.
How many of those Utd players should be kept at the club? 3 maybe?
Hoping for Utd to do the Pool a favour is a horrible place to be...
come on Burnley!!

Jaysus Utd!! ?
Usually you would think that a pending derby would be competitive but WTF? Nare a feckin chance Utd put it up to City. City are going to hockey this sad state of affairs...

For my money, the Llorente VAR decision was the correct one. Definitely no deliberate nature to it and no movement of the hand towards the ball. Doesn't tick any of the boxes according to the handball law.
100% agree.
the law as it stands means it’s a goal IMO.
next season however it would not have stood...

Loving the VAR puns.....

Mate I don’t give a fark either way.
Was not even thinking about how that Spuds result could affect LFC myself (if it could) was just enjoying the spectacle I witnessed. It was only the concern of Utd fans that had me consider it and when I did I don’t see it as a bad thing...
City looking for revenge on Sat could even go about a confident Spuds the wrong way.. who knows?
City getting dumped out like that could go into some future games with heads down? Who knows?
Quadruple not on, so do some City players allow that to affect them psychologically? Who knows?
When the dust settles this could be a great result for the Pool... who knows?

That’s why I said once the dust settles.
But LFC are still in it and City are not. And I’d prefer to potentially meet Spuds in a final than City. So it ain’t a bad result from a Pool perspective at all...

Perhaps the worst result for you Liverpool fans, when all the dust has settled.
Who cares? That was fucking entertainment of the highest order and VAR played its part! They still need to sort it out properly but that was amazing stuff at the end!

VAR Rocks!!!!!

City Spurs game is nuts!
-
City fans have to be the happiest I would have thought. Avoiding the derby, LFC and Barca on route is a great chance for them to get to a final.
-
I would not be happy if I was a Spurs fan, but you never know

Could be a Pool V Utd Semi if they both manage to get through
-
Porto for the Pool. Not a bad draw

Getting the impression After Life is proving to be very Marmite in nature.
-
That was a hell of a lot easier for Liverpool than I thought it would have been. And they did not even have to be at their best. Says a lot about the state of German footie at the mo...

Loved After Life even though I find Gervais very Marmite. I wasn’t ready for it to end.
Yeah 6 X 30 min episodes did seem very short. Especially in this day and age of binging......

Enjoyed Gervais’ After Life on Netflix. Very funny in parts, very emotional and sad in others, and some pretty dark moments too that really unsettled me also.

Valiant effort in ways by Utd but City’s class very much shone through.
