I think she’ll do almost the whole of midnights plus one song from each other album (+10 minute all too well as it had a separate release and film)
Doing an album in full on a greatest hits tour? Yeah i'm not so sure about that...

Are any of these headliners? Seems like subs at best, as much as I love Christine + the queens
By their standards yes, but for most major festivals no. This year the "headliners" were Post Malone, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Megan thee Stallion, The Blaze, Kacey Musgraves, TLC, Tyler the Creator, Jada, Thomas Helmig, The Strokes, Haim, St. Vincent

Saw them a week ago, highly recommend. I suppose they could do a festival run in the summer.
They are doing a festival run in the summer. The announcement for the Manchester show says "This show will be part of a series of European festival appearances in 2023, stay tuned for more announcements on those! "

This is horrendous for Rosklide. Must have some curfews they are riding out and just needed something out to get ticket sales going.
Indeed. Also Rina already played this year...
I went in 2019 and the lineup was incredible but I'm losing faith in the festival these days. It's not appealing to my fun unpretentious side, nor is it appealing to the snobby muso side of me. Embarrassing.

What fest is this? Christine + the queen's would be awesome, as would Rina

What's with the lack of accommodation in Sheffield? I'm happy to just stay in a hostel dorm but can't even find those. I get that Pulp are popular but I thought a city would have plenty of places to stay

Anyone else considering Bridlington Spa? I'm torn because it would be amazing to see them at a smaller venue but looks like a nightmare to get to

Is the Finsbury park gig going to be like a full day festival type thing, or is it just Pulp + Wet Leg?

It's end of the summer but they'd be a good headliner for Forwards

Only about twenty minutes away from Sheffield but more tempted by Bridlington i think, might be easier to get tickets and this the first show
Aye but it's a much smaller capacity so that'll make it hard

Unless there are four days I can’t see any of George, Sam, 1975 agreeing to play below Pulp.

And they started their post with 'Hi guys'... Other than actually having 'TROLL OR SPAMMER' tattooed on their forehead, I'm not sure what else they can do to make it more obvious.
I do believe it's a troll but what's so off about saying "Hi guys"? Its a common introduction isn't it?

as i'm lead to believe pulp are only doing one UK festival next year and it's not glasto, some sort of exclusivity thing
Where have you heard this? Didn't see anything about it in the Pulp thread.
I'm guessing probably All Points East? -
Seating map for MC & DL at Wembley. Disgusting. -

Where did you read that , little shocked , although aeg do BST
They've just sent out an email titled "Hi [name], pre-order Taylor Swift's new album 'Midnights' to gain pre-sale access for future UK show dates!"

So excited to see her headline but still sad that even now most of my group has no interest in seeing her. May have to make a group for other indie dads whose mates dont want to join them in going HAM in the pit

I just have faith and try to be a good person in the weeks leading up to it in the hopes that I'll get some good karma.

Any tips on getting a ticket? I'm determined to go but I'm really struggling.
I've signed up for notifications on TicketSwap but have had no success. Every time a ticket becomes available, it seems to automatically be reserved by someone else. There's 838 people wanting tickets so doesn't seem too hopeful.
Are there any other places to look? -

Wow, talk about hyperbole.
I'd be shocked if it's in the top 1000 records of all time.
Now THAT is hyperbole. It's one of the best albums of this decade so far. Which isn't saying much as we're only 3 years into it, but even so it is a great album.

Some die-hard roskilde fans of mine are saying sometimes they do announcements like this to bring attention to the smaller names, and then do a separate announcement for a big headliner. Sounds to me like a big cope, but we shall see...
