Not seen proof yet that it wasn’t. This still seems like user error from the admittedly buggy system that was re-verification. So far it seems like See didn’t randomly delete valid registrations, just that some verifications didn’t go through (mine didn’t at first I had to do it twice). And again, people then had a month to check their registrations and re-register (for free).

That makes it even worse, not just for See but also for Glasto itself, that they've taken this last minute decision because people couldn't follow simple instructions. It just opens them up for more questions as to why they delayed. I think people would be less anoyed if they just owned up to it. But instead their statement reads like they're passing the blame onto people failing to register or check their registrations in time.

  2. A lot of people seem to have some sort of Stockholm Syndrome with See Tickets. Just because they are not "as bad" as Ticketmaster doesn't mean they can continue with this ramshackle operation and just expect everyone to shrug and accept it. This is not just some insignificant glitch. This is a major bungle and changes need to be made. Maintaning the integrity of your databases and system is fundamental.

Good podcast but you mentioned 4 tickets max for the coach sale. Can people confirm if that's the case? I'm trying for coach tickets this time and I thought it was 6. There's 5 of us in the group and if it's indeed 4 max, there will be a very awkward conversation to be had before Thursday.

I'm hoping to secure tickets in the resale, and I have questioned this as well with no useful answer from See.

My thought now is that if a link will be sent to the lead booker to complete purchase, as lead booker I shall simply ask my friends who have a ticket under my booking to transfer the full amount to me before I make payment.

Good call. You have 24 hours to pay, so shouldn't be a problem to collect payment. Good luck to us!

  5. Will the e-mail with payment instructions (payment link, I'm assuming) be sent to the lead booker or to individual registrations? I sent an e-mail to See Tickets to clarify, but I thought I'd throw that question here also in case my reading comprehension has failed me. I don't think the FAQ has clearly explained this.

  6. A bit late to the party. Who do I send details to? Need help, please. I only need one and I can help to get 3 others. I got one last year via resale, so hoping my luck continues this year.

    Hi everyone,

Also been lurking since a while. This message board is a good source for figuring out things regarding the festival.

I am from the Netherlands, and will be going to Glasto this year for the second time. As my buddy had to cancel due to his back problems unfortunately, it turns out I am going alone this year. I figure it would be fun to meet other people going alone as well.

Also, I am looking someone to share a taxi ride with I have booked:

Hi Rik. I think there's a solo goers meet-up that's been mentioned but I have no info about it. This is also my second Glasto after 2019 and going solo this year. I'll keep an eye out for that post and I'll let you know.

  8. Can anyone who stayed at Worthy View in 2019 confirm whether they turned off the showers for them also, as they did for us plebs? Staying at WV this year and I'm wondering if I should bring a backup in case they turn it off again this year.

    Welcome also JoeSchmo,

If you are going solo, it might be an idea to get to the efestivals meet up on Wednesday evening, and make a few friends / hang out with people. 🙂

I'll definitely keep an eye out for that! I'm assuming details will come up closer to the date?

  10. Hello everyone! 2019 was my first Glasto and needless to say it changed my life. I was totally gutted when I wasn't able to get a ticket for 2020 originally, and about lost all hope when it was cancelled for the next two years. I was surprised that there was a resale at all but I had to at least try without expecting anything. Luck has been very kind and was able to get a ticket! After the last two years, I thought I'd treat myself to a tent at Worthy View also. Shame my friends can't make it so I'm going solo this year. Wishing everyone the best 5 days of the year!

Has anyone been checking how often these become available? Since reading this thread this morning, I've been constantly (well, every hour or so whilst at work) refreshing in hope of a two man.

I was almost in awe when one came up this afternoon (2 man scout at WV) but then started having doubts of whether a two man is actually big enough for two people and their stuff (we are arriving by coach so no option of leaving stuff in the car boot) so I convinced myself not to go for it. I also hadn't consulted my girlfriend at the time - who I was sure would not be impressed by the size, although since speaking to her about it I am kicking myself for not going for it!

Was one coming up today the chance I should have jumped on, or is there likely to be others over the next few weeks?

2 PERSON SCOUT TENT - WORTHY VIEW available just now if you're still interested. You can even book up to two tents. https://glastonbury.seetickets.com/content/extras 11/04/22 11:52am.
