  1. Bad Omens replacement so far:
RaR + RiP - I believe they just moved the slots?

Download - Funeral For a Friend
    Hellfest - Landmvrks

    Provinssi - TesseracT

I see Palaye Royale available on June 12, maybe it could be them?

Also could be a bigger local act, since covid I've heard that sometimes you have to book 2 years in advance.

Bad Omens cancelling all their summer shows so imagine there'll be a last minute replacement.

Electric Callboy or Beartooth would do me although not sure how realistic either are.

EC are already playing at Masters of Rock, so they might have an exclusivity in CZ.

Beartooth might have RaR/RiP exclusivity and they are not that big here.

Thanks! UK festivals usually have something like a silent disco, is that a thing at RfP as well or am I being too British!?

There should be silent disco, dj parties, karaoke etc., so dont worry about the programme.

Bands should play until midnight on day 1 and 2 and the other days until 2 AM I believe.

First timer here, with it being almost a month till the festival. Any advice for a first-timer, I'm coming over from England and staying in the RfP tents. Anything that I need to know that's different from English festivals? Also (and probably the most important question) how much roughly is it for a drink in the arena? We won't be able to really take drink in to have at camp so will be at the bar quite a bit!

TPD TV was there 2 years ago - https://youtu.be/ydMc2ygxzR4?si=GCA_ORY-J3yR8YhJ

the drinks will be dirt cheap for you.

there is a restaurant in one of the hangars with local food, probably the best value.

  5. RFP 2016 was awful, but the other CZ headline shows were actually good.

I think, that there are not so many headliner options this year and maybe they want to differ from Nova Rock and the others? It probably can't be Green Day again, Avenged Sevenfold... I feel they are not strong in the CZ market, the same was with QOTSA and they are already at Colours... FF probably too expensive and not available. RHCP, SOAD not touring.

Just plz don't have Limp Bizkit 😅

This year was my third time at RFP, among all festivals from Europe one of the best in terms of organization, bigger major festivals like Mad Cool have something to learn here  🙂

Unfortunately there is some lack of diversity, so many nostalgia acts, bands that was actual like 15 years ago. But im feel like the majority of audience also stuck in 2010s music, so maybe it's not festivals problem, I feel like RFP crew want to change something, but audience is not 🙂 The 1975 has so small crowd when headlining, there was much more people on some bands at 15:00

That's why all these nostalgia festivals in Vegas like When We Were Young are selling out quickly. The festival tries every year to change it, but the audience is stuck between 2000-2010.

At least they have a lot of small international club level acts instead of having more of bigger local acts.

Not to go into number wars, but she does have videos with 5.6 mil, 3 mil, 1 mil views as well. And that's not considering that I think she has a decent following on TikTok. In today's age you can't just consider Youtube as the ultimate be all end all, because younger people are much more present on TikTok. But again, even without that she seems qualified enough for the FIRST slot on the second stage.

Btw, I am almost certainly Krúbi will play the remaining 6:30pm slot and not the 5pm slot. That will be filled by Jazzbois who for example has the most viewed video at 700k, not even hitting 1 mil. Again, I don't think this is particualry that important for a small slot like this, but just to clarify.

Nope, one is a rock band and one is a metalcore band. Totally different genres.

The bands that would fit are playing different days, what else is touring that could fit? The HU, Escape The Fate, The Warning, Asking Alexandria, Halestorm?

But still better than Nova Rock...

Funny, MGK is not headliner but Placebo are. If you compare the size of venues they played in Prague this year, MGK is clearly more popular than Placebo (around 10k vs only 4,5k). Also he got way bigger since the 2020 lineup dropped. That was after his show in Forum Karlin (3k capacity). He sold 3x more tickets this year. Headliner or nothing I think.

Agree, and based on his position on the poster of Pinkpop or RaR/RiP, where he is subbing... that's why I feel that he might be too expensive for RfP with Slipknot + Muse already on the bill... but maybe they will surprise us.

    No Ghost, Yungblud would sub.

Well, Biffy or Royal Blood could headline this year, so why not Yungblud? He did 6-7k tickets in Prague this year.
