    I’ve seen a few people mention a post on the arctic monkeys forum (I believe!) where an ITK goes as far as to say that glasto is the only show on their tour that will have strings - can anyone point me on the direction of that post by any chance please? Assume somewhere on arcticmonkeysus?

    Yeah I had this problem for a number of weeks. I eventually got lucky because I kept refreshing the page which said that another booker was in the process of buying - the person who got in first didn’t end up booking them so they became available again. Worth giving that a go!

    Unfortunately the GFS has now got on board with the threat of afternoon and evening rain. Highs of 25.

    FRIDAY

    Dry in the early hours. Threat of afternoon showers then clearing. Highs of 20.

    Completely dry, rain missed the site. Highs of 19.

    So we go out on a very positive update with only Friday afternoon showers and a dry weekend.

    Celeste has just cancelled her UK tour dates (previously they were just postponed). Based on the statement it looks like she’ll be out of glasto as well:

    Hello to everyone,

    It is of my deepest regret to be delivering the news that I have to cancel these shows, I’ve had a string of personal obstacles to overcome in the earlier part of this year. That had affected my overall health in a way which meant my voice had not the strength it needed to give the level of performance I wanted to. 

    I am planning to spend the summer pacing myself and hoping to build up my confidence and the strength of my voice again. 
    I really hope to see you all when I feel I can give you the show you deserve to see. 
    From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support and encouragement, I can’t wait until we meet again ..

    This would mean the common would announce their headliners and still have a full breakdown to come.

    I can only assume they sold no more than 400 tickets to allow everyone to bring a plus one, which could be partially why it went so quickly.

    I've got tickets to pick up at the box office so I'll confirm it again when I go down and anything different I'll post on here.

    Managed to grab a ticket to cheese and grain as well - can’t wait! Just to confirm as I’ve got visions of turning up and my guest being turned away 😂 I turn up with my one ticket, my guest and a lottery ticket - my guest gets in for free. That right?

    Hi! Long time lurker on these boards, first time poster here 😄

    Quick question on potential clashes for the Foals day. I seem to recall a bit of a rush from Lorde to the xx a few years ago at APE. Is it likely Bombay will be on the second stage for this and there will be a similar rush to Foals towards the end of the set do we think?
