Thought that Brooklyn lager was absolutely horrible. Don’t know why they changed it from carlesberg to be honest not the best I know but doesn’t have a horrible twang like Brooklyn

1. Elton John, was just unbelievable. Don’t let the sun go down on me incredible
2 courteeners - just cause they’re my favourite band and it was one of the best times I’ve seen them
3. Arctic monkeys - thought they were incredible Friday night
honourable mentions to -
Rick astley and blossoms for the smiths covers
The pretenders
Sophie Ellis bextor 😂😂
sets most disappointed with
Fred again own person opinion thought it was incredibly boring and I love my dance music
lana del rey she’s a f**king diva

They need Thursday full day 100%, Stonebridge as same as every year absolutely rammed to the birm.
Opening the park for this would be so much better

I had this issue, last week they had to resend to me. I looked on laptop and still wasn’t in my inbox.

The glitterbox takeover will be class. Never been to the green peace area. How far away is it from pyramid stage roughly, going to make a dash from arctic monkeys
-
Personally can’t wait for the glitterbox takeover on the Friday night!

The Spider just gets so packed that it's really hard to get underneath which is where the best sound is, got stuck in a massive crush there last year which put me off it, they may have made the field larger but id bet they haven't made the system any louder.
Remember seeing Patrick topping and richy Ahmed b2b and jackmaster one after the other in 2017. Right under the spider was unreal. The sound was quality.
i still prefer the crane if I’m honest after 2019 appearance was so good that Friday night.

As others have said there is no reason to hold any of the other headliners back from the Superstruct events so can’t see Ashcroft or Weller turning up.
Id imagine it was Noel and there’s some sort of contract dispute going on. Although Liam probably isn’t going to do it the tweet does show they’ve not actually got anyone booked for it just yet.
Great little lineup for me and more than enough to keep me interested:
Friday - Jamiraqoui, Blossoms, Jake Bugg, Circa Waves and Wunderhorse
Saturday - Kasabian, Alt J (although prob both clash), Kaiser Chiefs, Amyl and the Sniffers and The Coral
Sunday - Ben Howard, The Vaccines, Sea Girls, Hard Fi and The Enemy.
Decent really
Interesting to see who it would be to be fair. And line up for me is a real winner.
friday - Jamiroquai, charlatans, blossoms, Pete tong ibiza classics (hoping that would be under Jamiroquai but doubt it) the view
Saturday - Kasabian, the coral, Kate nash, insprial carpets, Annie Mac
sunday- hard fi, the enemy, vaccines, Johnny marr, the blinders and maybe Ben Howard depends who headlines

Boardmasters have him on an exclusive
they are both superstruct so i guess its possible but would be quite weird to hold him back for no reason really
anyone expecting LG is only kidding themself i think
Didn’t realise he was on a exclusive with boardmasters to be fair

Co-Headliners?
But yeah, always a shout of multi-signing one of them for another festival. Superstruct do seem to like that model of having the same artists moving around their set of books, althugh tends to be smaller names.
You could also make the case, if it was one of them to hold the name back to help shift boardmasters day tickets when they go on sale. Damn, I am starting to think it is doable.
In the end, it's the hope that kills you. I need to dampen down expectations. We are going to be so dissapointed when they annouce the Wombats as Sunday headliner 😊
Liam Saturday, Florence Sunday. I think it’s between weller/ one of the Gallaghers/ Ashcroft personally

I would love them to get Liam and if Superstruct got him it would for Victorious or Boardmasters.
Maybe it will be someone big like Liam or at least someone different to the other Superstruct events as there would be little point in holding back a name listed on all their other events.
Come on Liam..............
Boardmasters have Florence and the machine and Liam Gallagher booked anyway so not ruled out atall.

That would be crazy but surely far to big? Would be super fun should it ever happen.
It cant be anyone headlining Superstruct mid level fest's as surely no reason to hold them back. Think we should be looking for smaller then Liam but good to dream.
I think Morrissey subbed by Marr 😊
Victorious is by far the biggest one out of the lot though. Out of all their festivals
-
Massive line up from them. The undercards has massively improved.

Ok maybe Weller… didn’t actually realise he headlined before
It was absolutely rammed for him last time, every time he plays Portsmouth it’s always a sell out on his own shows. Wouldn’t surprise me if they rebooked him. Considering stereophonics now done it twice
-
Wouldn’t surprise me if we have Kasabian and weller.
with Heaton & abbot and Ashcroft as castle stage headliners

Can't get my head round why people think a shot voice doesn't negatively impact on a gig though.
Tell that to stone roses at Wembley in 2017 or any of the roses comeback gigs and his voice is awful 😂😂

Heard a rumour that it could be Kasabian and biffy clyro. Dunno how true this is, came from someone at the booking company or something but also provided a few people with Jamiroquai before space cowboy got put up on southsea common. Probably a load of bollocks to be honest cause I can’t see biffy clyro playing victorious

The night time DJ areas definitely need to rethink about the pull of the artist,
one example: Jamie Jones on Saturday night could not move through the area atall at the stage he played at was a joke

I can’t believe how different warehouse project is to printworks, thought they’d be similar vibes due to similar ish capacity.
Warehouse project is fantastic, very impressed. Daphni was our lot’s highlight i think
The concourse room is absolutely unbelievable

Anyone that’s camped at the farlington fields before know how far the car park is from the campsite (usually, know it may be different now the entrance has seemingly moved)
The car park is right next to the campsites, it’s the only car park down there but I don’t know how much of the field they use

Victorious Festival 2023 Discussion

I come every year and I think personally that was the smoothest victorious yet and for nest year headliners Corr I’ve not got a clue. I would personally to see Liam Gallagher if he’s doing definitely maybe album. Foals and courteeners that would a solid set of headliners I Think
