Ian Brown was the big 2020 draw for me. I imagine that he's the headliner who they may have trouble securing again.
Early lineup announcements, you'd have thought that they would time with ticket returns and rollovers. I imagine that we won't get to hear soon, and it will be along the lines of the previous festival announcement schedule.

Little bit meh with the Sat/Sun lineup anouncement - I'm all about the Friday night this year - Ian Brown is such a bargain for £35

Truck has just been announced. Bombay BC, Kooks, Catfish, with 2nd tier of Blossoms, Hives, DMAs.
Also on the bill: Sports Team, La Roux, Pigeon Detectives.
Nothing astonishing. I expect a bigger reveal for Victorious. Ian Brown is a big coup for this batch of festivals, but expect another big name to appear by the end of next month - ideally from the Kendal lineup, rather than Truck.

Thumbs up for Ian Brown from me. Was mulling over Neighbourhood Weekender in Warrington as a chance to see him, but now he's at Victorious there's no need to shell out for that one as well.

Why's that then?
Supergrass are a shoe-in for Truck this year (the Oxford connection). Doesn't necessarily discount them, from Victorious, but I can't see them headlining any other mid-size festivals. And they also had the Glasto Pilton Party slot at the end of the summer, so I'd say they're due a Glasto-announcement shortly.

Really enjoyed Victorious this year - the weather definitely helped, even if the headliners weren't totally to my taste.
Standout bands for me:
Bloc Party (so stoked to see them perform, they made the weekend for me), Hives, Doves (how good do they sound live?), Badly Brawn Boy, Ash, Futureheads, Ziggy Marley, Band of Skulls .... miscellaneous performers who I don't know the name of having fun on the World Music Stage.
Had a late start on Friday so unfortunately didn't quite catch as much of the Zutons as I would have liked.
Bar prices were extortionate, especially for a non-drinker. The non-alcoholic beers were nearly as much as the alco drinks, and came in a can (which you can buy 6 of for three quarters of the price in the supermarket). They also ran out of Heineken 0 by Sunday, so not great.
But overall enjoyable - cracking undercard, glorious weather, great food (price seemed fine for me & good veg options).

Just a general question - has anyone had their tickets through yet? not received anything yet, so wondering if these are still to come or we've missed an email.

the early afternoon acts this year are nowhere near the quality they've had in the past, can't see people rushing in early to catch them like they did Happy Mondays or Texas.
Personally looking forward to Ziggy Marley, but you're right - if it's sheet raining like 2018, I might end up at the arcade at the end of the promenade instead of listening to All Saints
-
Off-topic, but very sad to hear the news about Keith Flint. Prodigy were an epic end to a rainy, muddy, memorable 2018 Victorious. So grateful that Victorious managed to get such a distinctive act, and that I got to see them.
Line-ups - you take the ups & the downs. For every year there's an Elbow or Maximo Park, Paul Weller, Noel Gallagher, Franz Ferdinand, Prodigy, there's going to be years where the organisers hit the right festival notes for other people.

New Order and disappointment (the emotion, not the band) ?
Agreed - big disappointment. Hey ho. Bloc Party will be awesome to make up for it the previous day.

Do we think we’re getting new order as a headliner or maybe someone else.. If it is new order it’s dire for headliner.
Have to agree, I'm afraid. I did see New Order in Hyde Park a while back, and they didn't amount to much. Support was Moby, who was probably better. New Order would be a little bit of a disappointment, but the Sunday undercard (Sundercard) is great: Ash, Futureheads, Razorlight, Vaccines, Ziggy Marley. Maybe I'll get an early night on the Sunday. Maybe NO will drag Kylie along for a bit of kitsch.

Kind of hoping it's someone as big as Ian Brown, but I don't think that's going to happen.
Old 'nearly dead' dude more likely.

It's actually quite good. Very happy with Bloc Party. Especially as its Silent Alarm.
Silent Alarm in full will be an awesome treat, if it's true.
Happy with the line-up announcement (albeit on other news channels). Hope it's accurate and not just rumours.

So without breaking the um-bongo, is it a decent line up?
I like Um Bongo - I'm glad they'll have a stall there this year.
I also like bands, so hopefully there will be some more on the way soon.

Victorious 2021
in other UK festivals

Saw that the Big Feastival has announced its line-up, including Rag&Bone Man (Sun) and Chic & Niles Rodgers (Sat) - the opposite of Victorious 2020 2nd stage headliners. Morcheeba and Reef (who were on the Victorious 2020 lineup) are also lower down the Feastival bill.
Is there much crossover between this and Victorious typically? Big Feastival is over August BH weekend too.
Victorious must be due a line-up announcement soon.
