I thought Sistxrhood is for women identifying people only right? I’d happily attend if I’m welcome but if not I’m not pressed

Sherelle set sounds brilliant but I’m a bloke so obvs can’t go. Fingers crossed she does another set over the weekend 🤞
-
Hoping that Mary & The Boones will make an appearance on the pyramid 🤞

Don’t suppose anyone has any Sky Ferreira tickets going for the Brighton show?

Think the vaccines could do the other stage opening again. Especially after last years snooze fest
Jesus, Ben Howard was so dull. Had the perfect slot and a huge crowd and decided to indulge himself by playing just his new stuff and nothing people actually knew

How have I only just discovered Ladbrokes Live? Is there a catch or is it just free?
-
Is there any spot left for Vampire Weekend to fill? Or is the only option a secret set?

Next announcement predictions?
I’m going West Holts on Tuesday 26th -
I think the lesson to be learned here is that c**ts will moan about anything

Horses for courses. IDLES will be a bigger at Glasto because of the demographic. Spotify figures mean sod all here.
I think you’d be surprised. DBE attract a lot of casual listeners, whereas Idles has a very loud cult fan base. Reckon it’d be fairly even between the two

Nah. IDLES way more well known.
Can’t stand either but DBE have 10x the spotify listeners and headlined Wireless alongside Travis Scott and Playboi Carti who are huge. Idles can’t even headline Truck Festival properly

Reading this thread has just made me having Vietnam flashbacks to Example at Glade last year. That was horrific. Got absolutely rammed very quickly and became near impossible to move out of as everyone was still pushing to try get closer to the stage
-
Looking forward to Little Simz but billing her before Coldplay is an odd move. Couldn’t be more different music and audience wise
-
Pretty happy with the lineup with the exception of the headliners. Across all stages the headliners feel quite weak. Lots of smaller acts I love but just no higher ticket acts to end the days on a high
-
Tried to upscale it using a sh*tty website but looks a tiny bit clearer

Guardian review of the live acts opens the review of jungle with this... Ouch!
"If you need a précis on who Jungle are, they named themselves after the some of the most forward-thinking music in the UK, and then proceeded to make some of the most backward-thinking music in the UK. They started out with the Fifa-14-loading-screen-core of stuff like Busy Earnin’ and have since graduated to what is very much the “live laugh love” of funk and soul music, with less edge than my toddler-proofed kitchen"
Pretty much summed them up perfectly

Empir State Bastard playing Resurrection Festival on the Saturday. Not entirely ruled out but certainly makes a Biffy Clyro appearance less likely

Yeah I put her on my predictions but people weren' having it. I think she'd be brilliant, loved her last album. She ain't antisemitic, she's just worked with a certain rapper who is.
I think having a featured verse with antisemitic content on your album counts as guilt by association even if she didn’t say it herself. Either way, not a great look for her
-
Happy with this selection. Especially Danny Brown and Nia Archives. Surprised they’ve booked Noname considering the antisemitic associations but would probably see her if no one else I wanted to see was on
