surely they'd let you buy one of the door? my son bought a student ticket last year not thinking that as he'd graduated by the time of the festival his ticket was the invalid. But they were happy for him to pay the additional £50 at the gate so surely they'd do likewise for an infant who they can hardly turn away!
Wow really? I’ve been buying student tickets for the last 4 years (as a student obviously) but never been asked to show proof of being a student.
No such trouble this year as the student tickets went too fast!

They really waiting a while for this last headliner huh

Personally would be over the moon for Gizzard to do GM.

Me too. I can’t get to any of their other gigs either…shame. Unless they rock up at Glasto but I can’t see that.
Connect it might have to be

Had my fingers crossed for boygenius at GM or EOTR. Shucks, I’m all outta luck…

Any chance of any of the Pitchfork fest headliners in Chicago coming over (it's a month earlier)? Big Thief, King Krule etc

Warmduscher have an album called Whale City which is a fan account for that football team?

I think they're just trying not to spoil it for those who want a surprise. the All Points East thread has all the discussed acts
My bad yeah just looked, not so much a surprise anymore though!

Maybe, and I did wonder after seeing that myself whether Grace would be on GM's potential headliner radar, but I think she's the type to do one big special show a year.
Go to the topic for spoilers but there's some interesting names in the leaked Field Day line-up for the same weekend especially among the international acts, with one who was due to play in 2020 and a couple who if either headlined Far Out would be an experience. And the APE line-up for the following weekend makes one band talked about as potential headliners possibly likelier. (None of this is even mentioning the act who've been in the music news a lot this week who are apparently rumoured to be coming over in late August...)
Why are you speaking in riddles who are these acts haha

So is Pulp too big?

I'd love King Gizz and or OSees.
I saw king gizzard like 3 times at primavera and they delivered three completely different sets. As you've said they've put out so much since they last played so be good to see em again.
New Jockstrap is so good. Wonder if they'll finally get Caroline Polachek?
Was meant to catch King Gizz this summer for the first time but it was right after Stu's Crohn's announcement 😞

I know they recently (2017 might be recent) played, but King Gizzard has put out so much music since they last played they are essentially a new booking and one I would love to see. They mentioned they would be back in the UK in 2023 so I'm crossing my fingers.
Elsewhere, I would love to see Jockstrap be given a proper slot that isn't a late Walled Garden one. They have gone from strength to strength since they first played and with this new album would definitely be a crowd draw!
More Preen!

Fuck me this is a shit show. Just in 2019 I got tickets in around March or something? How has it exploded in popularity so fast???
-
We got given tickets by a friend so selling 2 for Tame today. 25 each. Rather they go to someone than just get wasted!

3rd year done, incredible as always. Rising highlight for me was definitely Preen, hope they go far!

Public Service Broadcasting have almost immediately replaced Low at All Points East, wonder if there'll be a similar arrangement here.

Just looked back at last year's thread and yes it was posted
745 Walled Garden Sunday special guest is apparently Squid. According to bloke in Lazarus Kane crowd who knows the drummer (who is here)
https://www.efestivals.co.uk/forums/topic/235206-green-man-2021/?do=findComment&comment=6215817I bumped into the drummer at Los Bitchos and asked him so I guess that’s cheating

Does anyone know the best way to stay informed of when (and who!) the secret sets are (if there are any)? After squid last year I'm keen not to miss one.

GM say in a Twitter response that they may not be able to burn the Green Man on Sunday night due to weather and ground conditions.
Shame with it being the 20th anniversary and all

where'd ya hear that?
2nd/3rd from top that day, quite a big pull out, boo
Their instagram, the lead singer has had a bad flare of Crohn’s and has to go for surgery. Shame as I was looking forward to them but health first always.

King Gizzard are no longer playing the National day.

Is there any way to get my hands on settlers before the festival starts? I have weekend passes already, just had some time off unexpectedly occur so I'd love to spend more time in the beacons.

Anyone have any idea where/if I can get a car park ticket second hand? Had a look on twickets but no dice. Trying to save a bit of money if possible. Cheers.
