About WeeSket

  1. Radio 1 Big Weekend in Dundee is now all over the news. Formal announcement due before the end of the month.
  2. Isn't that normally just a 2 day event?
  3. Thats martin garrix ruled out then
  4. Might hold it outside England, probably in either Edinburgh or Belfast. Think Coldplay and Taylor are both dead certs for headliners with Sam Fender somewhere down the bill.
  5. Billie Eilish has to be highly likely now. No Scottish date on her world tour and is in Europe the weekend of TRNSMT. Undoubtedly a massive ticket seller with the crowd they are trying to shift to as well.
  6. After Stormzy think they'll go for someone in that genre. Dave is the next big UK rapper and if he releases another album he'll have more than enough material.
  7. Courteeners / Wolf Alice / Bombay Bicycle Club The 1975 / Vampire Weekend / Declan Mckenna Dave / Jorja Smith / Loyle Carner
  8. No way Lewis Capaldi isn't playing high up on the main stage if he is booked next year. Slowthai could take that spot subbing the Radio 1 if he releases new material before then. Could see Jorja Smith moving up to around 3rd down on the main stage as well.
  9. Very possible but don't see them spending headliner money on Slipknot when they could get someone else and fill the smaller stages with more heavy metal acts.
  10. Not with the school leavers crowd that they are trying to sell to. Most important thing is who will sell the most tickets and Slipknot don't appeal anywhere near as much as someone like Stormzy.
  11. No chance Slipknot are headlining. Booking a heavy metal act to headline doesn't make any sense with the kind of audience Reading and Leeds are trying to attract.
  12. Any ideas about who this special guest is going to be?
  13. Seems like they're hinting at The Who on a couple social media posts
