That's not in line with Pearl Jam bacause they are expect to announce a tour on Monday. Mad Cool on tuesday if the newspaper got it right before removing the date.....

in Euro date format it will be 11 (Mon)/12 (Dec). Tuesday is 12/12.

I'm not an insider, just repeating what I read in the Glastonbury thread which was that the rumours are PJ are doing 2 days at BST again 28/29 June.  Also rumoured to do a Manchester date on 25 June.

I would say that it will be the O2.

    Last albums: Avril 2022, The Offspring 2021, Sum 41 Q1'2024  😉

I guess The Prodigy are a good shout, let's see. PJ would be awesome, but I am not sure they will tour at all. Everyone was expecting them at Werchter and I think this ship has sailed with their last announcement...

PJ will tour, but nothing in eastern Europe.

No trouble. Mad Cool will be held the next year as planned. The message they published is not related to the cancellation of the festival, but is a marketing solution to add more hype. It is well explained in this spanish article: https://www.larazon.es/cultura/musica/mad-cool-celebrara-2024_20231203656cf5b90ec7c80001bae810.html

They are going to release the lineup this week.

That would be mad, not cool 😂

There has not been a single edition of Primavera where there haven’t been other suitable bands that they haven’t ended up booking.

There are tour routings to consider, cost factors and above all they simply cannot book all the bands that please everyone - show me the festival that does!

Yeah, I get all of that, but all that I'm saying is with a little more effort - and Primavera has the resources to do that - they could book Massive Attack or LCD instead of The National and Roisin Murphy.

Of course I'm gonna have a great time and will see The National as they are given, but you know: if there is a rare band out there I would like to get them in the lineup. Maybe Primavera tired to book them, maybe no, we will never know. The poster is good to be honest.

It's just a slight disappointment that the lineup could be even more interesting (of course, this is my subjective opinion 😉 )
