  1. The queues for a decent coffee were insane last year. And I mean insane! I’d definitely take facilities to make my own next time I go.

New Tourist album out today, lads

It’s class. Can’t wait to see him in Bristol next month. Been waiting years

edit: Glad Siren got added to the album, hopefully he’ll play it live now

  3. Surprised everyone thinks this is going to be insanely busy. He’s struggled to sell out a few dates on his tour. I’m a big fan but I don’t think he has the wide fan base that people think, along with it being an early slot in the day for this kind of music. Definitely won’t be Wet Leg busy

First time last year and I thought Shangri-La on the Friday was ridiculously busy , bordering on unsafe  - i wont be returning lol- block9 / common was so much more enjoyable. assume it's because it becomes a massive bottleneck towards that end.

I was in Shangri La all night on the Friday and don’t remember it being uncomfortably busy. What time was it bad for you? 2019 I remember it being much worse, especially around the Gas Tower

  5. Went to the Bugged Out! day at Document (Motions new venue in Bristol) on Saturday. I thought the sound was really good, visuals not so good. You could only see half of the screens. It took a while to fill up as it’s quite a big venue & it was nowhere near sold out from my understanding. 2ManyDJs were great. DJ Seinfeld put out a really good set considering I’ve seen him a few times before and found him quite underwhelming.

As a whole not a bad venue but not incredible either.

It was my first rave since my 6 month old was born. Just about recovered.

  6. Has anyone been to Document in Bristol yet? Not sure if they’ve had any events yet or not but going to the Bugged Out day in a couple of weeks time and curious to know what the A/V setups like

Interesting theory but I've seen people comment that it's 2011 which seems correct according to Google images.

It looks nothing like the 2017 Green Man.

    Dang it!

  8. I’ve been to Greenman twice before without the baby in tow and loved it. We’ll be taking our little baby girl next year, she’ll be around 11 months old. Any tips from parents? Love the festival and looking forward to it even if it is hard to see how it’ll be possible right now 😂

Thank you for clearing up how I pronounce that. I was like "E-tella?"

One of my new finds I can't wait to see either way.

Haha, no problem. Good luck finding the symbol though 😂

I’ve been loving them since hearing their last album. They’ll sound great at Greenman

  10. I had a few friends that used to rave about SGP. So we went last year, it was horrendous. Worst festival I’ve ever been to. I’m sure they’ll sort out a lot of the issues but out of principal I would never return and I’m sure others will have the same opinion.

Can't see The Last Dinner Party staying on Rising after all the airtime they are currently getting.

Agree with this. Or they’ll be up against some big competition.

A great lineup this year. Jake Xerxes Fussell was incredible when I saw him in Bristol last year, gig of the year for me.

Great to see Stella (with a sigma) on the lineup, surprised they haven’t had more UK dates.

Nah man. Just having a laugh taking the piss out of some here today gone tomorrow tunes. No bother x

Yeah, his music might not be to your liking but you don’t have to mock others who enjoyed it. No need to comment, Poor taste imo.

I felt the same about Are You Ready For Love. There was so much love in my bit of the crowd for that one, it spanned generations.

Just getting a chance to watch it now. The singalong to the piano riff at the beginning of Bennie And The Jets is astonishing.

    So happy I was there.

Are you Ready for Love was incredible, expected it to be though. Probs my favourite part of the set

The level of delirium in the crowd for the Crocodile Rock / Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting / I'm Still Standing section is quite something.

    Folks going f**king bananas 🍌

The atmosphere for Crocodile Rock was outstanding. Didn’t expect that to be one of my faves.
