That Friday/Saturday is a proper car crash. I can generally find something for myself on any festival bill but there is literally nothing there that I would actively want to go and see

Travis would be infinitely better than the hick post malone

Haha, you're the first to pick up on that. My all time favourite artist. What a guy, would love to see him. Yeah Denzel would be great, really love a lot of stuff from his mixtapes. Same with Noname to be fair.
The Water(s) is one of my all time favourite mixtapes, although it's so coherent and intricate I think that it's a little reductive even considering it a mixtape. Props for the Cudi avi too

Really really hoping for Ski Mask The Slump God or A$AP Ferg. Rappers (not grim artists) currently in my prediction for the 1Xtra stage are: Smokepurpp, Mick Jenkins, $uicideboy$, Azizi Gibson, Isaiah Rashad, Noname, Denzel Curry and A$AP Ferg. Originally had Earl Sweatshirt and Joey Bada$$ but they both seem to be around early summer instead.
Saw Mick play leeds in 2016 (or maybe 2015) and he was fantastic... incidentally is your screen name a Mick Jenkins reference? I'd love Denzel and Noname

God Travis would be a boss sub
EDIT: Not why does it always rain on me travis....

Anyone got ideas on what we'll see in 1Xtra stage? I'm hoping they get a few established hip hop names as headliners. Would love to see Pusha T make a return since I wasn't there when he headlined a few years ago. A Vic Mensa, Denzel Curry or Rick Ross would be incredible too, but I'm concerned they want to push grime more (which is fine, just less to my tastes)

I wouldn't rule it out. They have stood the test of time well in terms of still being popular with younger generations. It would be similar to the Metallica booking which went down really well.
Yep pretty sure kids still know the hits at least... I’d hazard a guess your average teenager in the R&L demographic knows more gnr tracks than Metallica tracks

I think he's playing parklife also
He is yeah. Which incidentally I'm very close to buying tickets for, which is why I'm itching for a R&L announcement so I can decide for certain

A bus runs to Shepton mallett from gate A, and drops off near a big Tesco - it's not a long journey, maybe 3-4 miles or so. That's the easiest and quickest option, I'd do it early doors Thursday and then sort yourself out for the weekend
Yep that's what I was hoping to do anyway! Arriving on Wednesday but would be happy enough using the bars the first night seeing as I'll be getting there fairly late in the afternoon. Any idea of the prices?
Cheers

Hi all, seasoned festival-goer but first time glastonbury here! Just a quick Q...
Since I'm travelling by train and I don't really fancy carting a weekend's worth of drink and snacks around to the site, or pay the presumably nasty drink prices in site, are there any transport links to nearby shops/supermarkets? i.e any buses running, taxis that wouldn't cost the earth, shops in walking distance?
Thanks and enjoy your weekend if you're going!!

I feel like the lineup is still salvageable up to a point when they put out the full stage splits and list of acts. But my god it is going to take a miracle
