Side note: Anybody aware of what Jamie T's up to?

Well he released his album last year and it wasn't too impressive plus he had a very small tour for it but he does just pop up now and again at festivals as he's just such a good booking live I would say there is around a 30% chance he'll be at reading next year but you never know he did pop up at Bestival last summer so yeah.

    Tame Impala

    Childish Gambino

    Pendulum live

    Alt-J

    Skrillex

    Post Malone

    The Strokes

I'd love it if even just one of the above played R+L but can't see most of them being booked

i can see this statement being likely

  4. I'm honestly expecting more mainstream reading is turning into more mainstream than the old fashioned rock fest nower days so I wont be expecting three mainly rock orientated bands like artic monkeys, foos, queens of the stone age or royal blood il expect only at least two, also if V-fest close for next year even more reason for mainstream acts?

Doubt it. It was a stretch for them to sub in 2016, and this album has done even less than the one they were touring then. Bit like Biffy, they can't dine out on Night Visions forever.

you are a joke there latest album shoukd put them up in the headline spot

  6. honestly R+L will have artic monkeys once again cause there is no Glastonbury, vampire weekend will be likely to appear as their new album will be coming out very soon royal blood is likely I believe cage the elephant are likely after there new album so is the killers as they have one releasing, Django Django have a new album releasing next year same with Kanye west, Lupe fiasco, major lazer, mgmt , rea summmerd and the 1975 however fall out boy and U2 have been very quite

main stage headlining- Artic monkeys, Kanye west, fall out boy and then sub headliners royal blood, vampire weekend, cage the elephant, Django Django, the black keys

radio 1 stage or dance stage  - major lazer, mgmt, lupe fiasco, royal concept

none of these are right probably

Hi Guys! Hopping on this thread

I'm not really a Boardmasters veteran but couldn't ignore Jamiroquai headlining, plus i think it's a chill scenic break for non-locals! Line-up looks a bit better than last years, who is everyone excited for?

ALT-J are gonna be awesome and newton Faulkner and TDCC but honestly there all good also love the vaccines.

Hey guys, anyone been to Boardmasters alone before? I was meant to be going with my sister but she's pulled out due to work and majority of my friends are going to Boomtown (same weekend), the rest say its too far to travel (I live in Hertfordshire). I don't mind going alone as I'll see the acts I want but just wondered if anyone else has done it? Is it quite a safe one to go to alone? Easy to navigate? Or if there's a place to find other people to camp with? Any info/advice would be much appreciated! Thanks :)

I'd recommend: the Amazons, Cortes, Palace, Tom Grennan, Honeyblood, I also second Will Joseph Cook

It depends what you define as big but if you are asking if anymore acts will be at the top of the bill then no. The next announcement will just be filling out the undercard further.

basically I'm asking what kind of acts are you expecting
