A can of Pimms and Lemonade for breakfast.
In a less trampy mode, I always have one ice cream whilst watching a band each festival. Sunshine, 99 and tunes - perfect

That Maximo Park gig was ace last year especially as we had nothing to do so sat outside for a few hours to drink and relax meaning getting in was not a problem.

Aaaawwwwoooooooo* indeed
*The noise only possibly makes sense if you have watched the video (and if you're a fan of pretty ladies or sexy dances I'd recommend you watching it)

She lovely. I want to giggle and be too scared to talk to her.

I'm still amused over the other year going to my local to meet my parents when getting home from a festival because I didn't have a key. It ended up with a bit of drinking session - but with me being sat right in the corner because I smelt of mud and festivals. But I wasn't allowed to go home, I just couldn't have anybody near me apart from when my drinks were dropped off and when someone came to get the money off me to buy my round.

I had my tickets delivered today (without Fine Guide :-() but the delivery guy stated that DX had both emailed and texted me to inform me of this. They hadn't - and it was just lucky that my dad was less hungover than I and was able to sign for them.

I was once in a crowd scene in the end of festival review magazine. I was so made up. I don't even have it now.
In fact, if anybody has a copy of the 2000 review and the time to scan it...

I thought this was a bat signal for William.

I know what you mean. I have moments like that at the moment as I'm worried about my cash in the run-up (bad budgeting) and I'm just so stressed with work that I can't allow myself to think about anything enjoyable until after 19 June. But there are these moments of huge excitement like when my mate emails me to confirm the hotel is sorted for the Tuesday night or my DM's get delivered. It's also my 30th birthday on the first day of Glasto (so I've brought it forward to the Monday for family) and I am similarly apathetic to that. I think the "what have you done with your life" questions are flooding my brain a bit too much.
F--k it! I'm just going to get leathered on hot and spicy and then hit on everything in sight. Much to the chagrin no doubt of my mate who is meeting us there who thinks her and I are going to become a couple. No chance! Especially not at a place which has Florence, Edith (don't say anything I know how shameful it is), Fearne and Paloma Faith.
Where's that dvd...
-
But it's hard not to - you have Florence in your sig.
That's another act that in 5 years people will be thinking "why did I like that....?".
-
thing is, eating 3x a day takes a fair bit of dollar alone

Ive just booked 2 rooms just outside Weston Super Mare for the Monday night.
£49.95 per couple with breakfast on laterooms.
After years of driving back to Manchester for 7 hours + in a coma I decided to get a hotel room within an hour or so's drive of the festival.
And now I can't wait even more. A hot shower and meal within easy driving distance after 6 days of debauchery. And a nice refreshed drive back north on the Tuesday. Why didn't I think of it years ago!!!

(plus I have a habit of buying other peoples drinks when pissed)
-
I set aside about 500 for glasto
100 a day , food/drink etc

The attitude of the "authority" figures. The behaviour of the police and stewards and security at Glastonbury is far different to that at any other festival or gig I've been to.

I'd give it to my mate, who is giving us a lift down, even though he failed to get a ticket. He deserves it for being a legend.
-
I have entered some in the hope that I win. Then I will cancel my litter picking tickets and get my money back (minus £30 admin charge, but that is a fair price for some much needed sleeping/recovering time).
-
my kind of answer
-
I would offer it to my auntie who threatens to go every year - but never will.
-
you all plan your weeping interludes as well? I've never seen such a well prepared group of people as those on this site.

I leave the house at 0830 tomorrow and I haven't started packing yet. I'm the tortoise to organised people's hare.
