    Proud of you Neil.

Yeah he will be there as BBK - he and Skepta founded the group. If you are looking for an unlikely guest appearance then Drake is probably your man. Drake 'signed' with BBK label last year (not really signed as he is already signed to the Young Money label - so its probably more just a statement of support for BBK)  and he is a well known friend of the group.

Ah thanks for the informations! I've only started getting into it so I am not well versed in the grime universe yet haha Glad to hear! I remember reading that about Drake, which I think is awesome

Christ that would be bad. Hopefully the poster placenta give us a few clues such as Beck subbing and BMTH not being an Other headliner last year.

Give us a nice middle column of:

    RADIOHEAD

    FOO FIGHTERS

    ED SHEERAN

    THE XX

    LADY GAGA

    KENDRICK LAMAR

    THE WEEKND

    ALT-J

    JUSTICE

    Cheers.

Can we please replace Kendrick by A Tribe Called Quest and it will be a line up

Hard to say. Safe to say they're at the top of a lot of people's wish lists but they may well have just chosen the money that undoubtedly comes with headlining Bestival/playing at Parklife. Fingers crossed though - would be one of the best additions to the lineup for me.

That would be a highlight for me as well. I really really hope they make it - can't do sunday parklike unfortunately so :(

  4. No fucking exam this year, no shitty forced resale of my tickets.

I AM GOING (tho no confirmations emails, so quite worried)

Congrats for those who also secured some !! Otherwise, best of luck on sundays guys!

I have never got why people lurk but don't contribute. On here everyone is all rather friendly and nice. The City forum I use is the total antithesis of this forum, it really is dog eat dog.

I am late to the party, but I used to be quite a lurker on different forums - it's quite hard to contribute to a community, especially if we don't have much experiences to share I feel. I also have a feeling that a lot of people might say they are lurker in a hope to get "acceptance" as in, they hope that saying this will make people believe they knew the community prior to contributing to the forum and they should therefore have a right to be in the whatsapp group/siblin email listing (as his message from last year said that he wanted people to contribute and be members of the community).

I am not sure if my explanation is clear, but that's my 2cents on it.

  6. Hi, I am Magali, the very french person that wrote "solding" instead of "selling".

I am not even a long time lurker, I was just desperate to get tickets after I resold my  wednesday coach tickets (stupidly, I now realize I should have come earlier and ask advice haha) as I had an exam on the Thursday.

Not very accustomed with festival as I only ever did three, and they were day only ones. Hopefully Glastonbury will be my first one (and what first one it could be!!!) Nice to meet you all.

    - also what does the +(different number depending on the member) means under the avatar? I am quite curious hehe

Just a general summing up of last year's secret resale:  The last date for refund cancellations was Friday 8th May 2015.  The secret resale was expected to happen in the following week 11- 15 (around lunch time, and "on the hour" for reasons I'm not sure of).

However, the resale was on Monday 18th at 3 pm for 14 mins.  Earlier on that day, folk monitoring ticketsite page changes on this forum said there were changes in the code but no visible change (you can see it all kicking off around page 60 of this thread).  I got a ticket for a mate by following this thread, and noting a lot of activity.

BUT what had never occurred to me is that @GlastoFest would tweet that the tix had gone onsale (people say it was about 3 mins after the site had gone live). http://www.efestivals.co.uk/forums/gallery/image/5197-glasto-2015-secret-resale-tweet/   Nothing came up on Glastonbury Festivals facebook page. There was only one "secret resale" and that was it. They were all general admission tickets (not coach) afaik.

So, I would strongly recommend that people check this forum/thread, monitor page changes, join siblin's group and also set up a twitter account following @GlastoFest with reliable "push notificiations".  I notice @GlastoFest doesn't tweet that often so it's advisable to test in advance for someone who tweets a lot that it works reliably. (I'm still struggling with this on my new bloody Microsoft Lumia).

This year the last refund cancellation date is Friday 6th May, so the most likely resale time would be Mon 9th - Friday 13th (eek!) or Monday 16th May.   I wouldn't discount weekends myself. Set an electronic reminder that 6th May is last refund date and the following week or so is most likely resale time.  Make sure you have the reg numbers and post codes and debit card details to hand at all times, you've got enough money in your account, and keep checking  glastonbury.seetickets.com  or  http://glastonbury.seetickets.com/content/extras

Just a note, if you are thinking of picking up a ticket for a mate who missed out in the resales, be sure to check they still want to go!  Last year there was a thread on here about someone who, in the heat of the secret resale moment, bought two non-refundable tickets for mates who had been trying in the official resales, only to discover they had booked flights and tickets for some international festival instead - don't know how that panned out in the end but I suspect not well.....

Good luck to all who are depending on the secret resales!!!

Thanks for this amazing summary!! I was wondering, last year, was there any waiting page or did anyone went through the registration page immediatly?

They mean you can't turn up & get your ticket from the driver before he leaves. Some drivers have in the past let people take tickets without getting on the coach but most won't. & yes tickets definitely go to a box office if you don't turn up for the coach.

The driver would probably wait for anyone not there for a while so you might cause everyone else on the coach a delay

well i won't as some lucky person probably got my ticket in the resale now! good to know for next year haha thanks for the info

Yes tickets will go to a box office for collection on site, but I think this takes quite some time to process & you can lose half a day just trying to get into the place. Far easier to just get on the coach

Is it really that official? I am so gutted I resale them and lost my chances (as i didn't get a ticket in the GA resale). I wished I had knew before as when called they been total dicks about it (such as "there is absolutely no chance that you get your ticket in any otherway than getting on that coach").

  10. I agree, a festival is an entirely different experience. I think a lot of people are also likely to go for the experience more than the music for example (hence the Kanye West nightmare of last year, where people that are interested with the music clashed with people just wanting a big experience). I personnally didn't do many festival and no real camping one, so hopefully, Glastonbury can be my first haha

How many tickets roughly are usually sold in the secret resale?

From what I have gathered reading this thread about a 100 people have been helped in 2014 by Siblin and last year about the same probably?

  12. That's the link people keep on posting but it never seems to do anything, os either they are selling one by one and it's really weird, either more people are on it than thought. It is unlikely that none of the page monitors we have wouldn't have picked it up though.

  13. 4 minutes ago, Minky-Monkey said:

Maybe but if you google secret resale, all you will find is eFestival chats. And maybe the 14 minutes will be 10 minutes this year, but it should still be more than enough.

Edit: I searched for secret resale on twitter, could hardly find any tweets about it.

Fair. If tweeter is unseat than we have a chance! If there is no queue that's good.

i found about it thanks to a random Reddit post but it was like the only one buried under several

Last year, it began on monday morning that the website was having all kind of activity. Basically, many people here were already warned. At 3 o clock, the secret sale started and it took 14 minutes (!) without a que to get tickets. Feeling very confident now.

i was as well but i think this is going to be different this year as there is more and more people aware of those resale
