In my opinion, this is stronger than last year.
Radiohead are an exciting booking, Ed Sheeran is probably the biggest contemporary act they could get right now - this is probably his commercial peak as well, and the Foo Fighters coming back [as it looks - to right the wrongs of 2015 with their pull out].
I think the Foos and Coldplay are pretty similar bands [not in musical style] but in size, and I think the Foos have a bit more excitement behind them.
As well as being three acts that are undoubtedly big enough to headline, I can imagine all three of them playing fantastic sets... whereas I had a feeling Muse would probably let people down, Adele wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea and Coldplay might be a bit stale. Therefore I think that this is a strong year for the pyramid in terms of quality
Radiohead> Muse. That's just obvious. Adele=Ed both huge in their own rights and can't see much of difference. Both could sell Wembley 7 nights on trot if they wanted. Coldplay > foos. I'm sorry whatever you lot think of Coldplay they are worldwidely more successful than foos and also their Sunday slot last year was epic. Yes Coldplay can bore off now they've milked this album far too long but they are undoubtedly bigger than foos

3 white male/ guitar playing headliners.... brexit is the true winner here
-
Anyone else seen nick grimshaws tweet around a "BIG" surprise from ed sheeran at the brits tomorrow?
-
Sounds like another "muse are playing lower down the pyramid/headline other stage" gag from someone
-
Surprised no one is talking about royal blood support FF. they supported them at Mk bowl last time in UK. Or are RB an exclusive else where?
-
Lmao that Radiohead fan boys are claiming Gaga is past her peak
-
Thinking about most of the headliner predictions being Sheeran/Foos/Radiohead/ stone roses, doesn't this go against what the eavis' are trying to do by getting women involved as much as possible. Gaga has an album next year aswell, can see Beyoncé perhaps?
-
Sheeran down to 2/1 now. Odds don't mean a lot necassarily but to go from 20/1 to 2/1 must mean some hefty betting in 24 hours. Guessing the sun story has a lot to do with it
-
Radiohead won't headline the Saturday. Stone roses IF they did it might do the Saturday but their comeback would have been more than 12 months old by then. It's not the same buzz like if they did it this year. I don't see how a hit filled Radiohead set can't close the festival??

Friday Foos/roses
saturday Sheeran
sunday Radiohead
they are the 4 most likely to play and I can't see Radiohead being the crowd pleasing Saturday slot despite the fans on here.

It's almost felt like 2016 never happened with how quick these rumours have come round for 2017. The fact they have already supposedly booked them surely means they will be leaked before Christmas some how

And this is likely to happen?
I've punted on it. Both teams to score is likely to happen. With Wales having key suspensions I think it's very likely. It's a free bet, go for it

Aww fuckers have maximum Stone Roses bet at below £10 so I can't use any of my free bets. I fucking hate bookies and I was a stupid prick to sign up. Somebody who knows about sports tell me two £10 bets that are very likely to bring in a bit of cash.
Portugal to win tomorrow and Both teams to score. 45 off 10.

Wales BTTS
I had Portugal BTTS! I already had pre tournament bet on Bale top goalscorer and Ronaldo top goalscorer/France winning the tournament. Sadly Germany are in the way
-
Down to 12/1
-
I got £30 in free bets too, did anyone else? I've punted Radiohead, anyone else you think?
-
10 on Sheeran it is. Surely it will be Saturday? Bbc friendly but not quite big enough to close the festival?
-
Link to bet site?

I certainly felt their setlist was stronger this time round and also their performance was better. The atmosphere was amazing and the band just fed off it. They can't play again for at least 10 years now surely
-
Bastille?? Really?? Royal Blood will surely be there if their next album is a success. I think they will be there next year high up the bill. Foals after their next album will headline. Tame impala if they have a completely storming album next they will, anything less than they won't. Blur surely back soon? Arctics by 2020? Nothing but thieves if their album is as good as their first?

So...... According to the ever reliable sun newspaper it is Diana Ross....
Royal Blood

Great first half of the song and then breaks down into a samey solo which ruins it for me. Promising but potential to let down.... However what else were we expecting them to bring out?!
