Really? Because personally, i don't see much difference between the awful presumption many arseholes have that all illegal immigrants into this country are only here for no good, to scrounge and claim benefits etc. Both are stupid things to automatically assume.

I would estimate that, just the same as ticket holders, 99.9% of people sneaking in are doing so in order to have a good time, just like everyone else. Why would you go to all that bother just to piss people off, draw attention to yourself and maybe get chucked out? Me and my mates break in every year, and have not as much as accidently stepped on someone's foot, let alone go around robbing tents.

Is it actually against the law to break into the festival? can you be arrested for trespassing when you have no ticket?

So the workmen in your house went through your mail that you had specifically signed for and threw out £500ish worth of festival tickets? Surely that's a criminal offence?

Or was it that you just left it next to the recycling... And then the workmen took the bins out?

Either way that company needs to be taken to court if they're responsible for your tickets being thrown away.

I'm quoting this just for the sake of saying you've seen seaway and they are my favourite band. Also, I went to a gig in Australia, flew out there, got to the Box Office and my mum rang up to say, "did you want these tickets that are on the fridge".. oops

    Hiya,

Its my first festival and I'm off to Leeds on Friday and wondered if anyone knew anything about what security checks they are doing with taking liquids into the the arenas. I know that taking alcohol in is restricted, but we have alcohol pouches that we are strapping up and water bottles with sealed lids. Do they test the liquids at all? And during the security checks, do they use a metal detector on you?

Any advice would be fab! :D

I highly doubt, I've seen people take the water pouches with all sorts in it. They will search you and if alcohol is found they'll just make you lob it out.. Enjoy!

Hi there I was wondering if anyone can answer me a few questions please, this is the first time to Leeds fest, normally do Glastonbury

1: How good is access to drop of points should we get a taxi over, we live in Bradford you see, anyone done this? Price? Queues?

    2. We are on a day ticket for Saturday we are thinking of arriving 11-12 dinner timish. Will we be queuing long, otherwise we will set off earlier

    3. We don't have camping and we know you can't take alcohol into the arena, but will we able to have a few in the queue and even maybe take a couple in to drink before we get to the arena

    4. After all the bands are finished, is there after party DJs are these inside the arena, also is there any outside the arena will we be able to gain access on a day ticket

    5.  If we was to get the shuttle bus, it states the last one runs at 1:40am, can we just turn up like 5 mins before, or do we need to be queuing up like 2 hours before

    6. Are there taxis waiting

    7. Is it easy to get to the bars, and is it something like £5 a pint?

    8. Finally, do they announce the times of when sets start and finish, do you get a schedule on entry, or timetable

thanks for your help in advance

    1. Taxi's will rip you right off, Bramham Park is miles away from Central Leeds so my best bet would be go to the shuttle bus there then queue,

    2. I'm not sure, queues are often long though so best to arrive early just in case.

    3. If they see you drinking it or catch you with a can then they'll confiscate it at the gate or make you chug it. Although you can drink in the queue if you want.

    4. Inside the arena, I'm not quite sure, usually late DJ's are on the relentless stage, but I don't know where they are as I've never been remotely bothered. No "After Parties" that I know of.

    5. NO!. Dont and I'll repeat this DONT turn up 5 minutes before the LAST shuttle bus. I know you'll probably be hammered but so will everyone else, and usually the busses are an absolute cluster f*** and taxis dont bother queueing as I've seen people walk in front and offer a tenner to take them there and then. Queues for shuttle busses are often long, everyones hammered and the bus company usually doesn't have a clue what to do.

    6. Yes and No, theres not tonnes and people do queue for them but as I said before, it's all a bit of a mess as everyone just wants to get off site as quickly as possible.

    7. Yes, loads of bars, easily accessible, yes, last time I saw they were about £5 with your standard 10p give the cup back thing. LiveNation have licensed everything so its mainly Pepsi Max etc and Tuborg Cider.

    8. You can BUY (no free things unfortunately, all money making) a Lanyard with all the times on it and a Programme for £10. All times are on the app apparently but I haven't checked.

  5. I arrive into Leeds train station just after 11 on thursday night and have realised that the busses to the festival site do not run until that late. The bus timetable wasn't out yet when I was booking train tickets, and I couldn't take Thursday off work to go earlier.

Is there anyone that will be going from the centre of Leeds to the festival on Thursday night (I am happy to pay), or anyone in a similar situation that would want to share a taxi with me?

Also, does anyone know if they stop letting people in late at night (ie.12ish)?

i think people are on site 24 hours a day, as the CAT have night shifts, but I'm not sure if the wristband exchange will be open at that time, maybe they will specifically for people coming from work etc so i bet they've prepared for that. Hope you find someone to go with!

  6. last time i went in the guest arena you could come out and go through the main access area, the only area she/he wouldn't have access too is the guest area, it's just a regular campsite with a couple of toilets anyway, they would just wait outside and then you'd go through the main enterence together, only thing is the last time i was in there was '13 so not sure if its moved this year
