Not sure if it was just luck, but driving into and out of WV we had barely any traffic on both trips. Had friends leave from normal camping and it took them 9 hours to drive home, whereas we made it in around 5 hours including a stop at the services. Left Hertfordshire around 5 am on Wednesday, stopped at Fleet for 25 min, and was parked up at WV by 8:30 am.

My wife and I are both from the UK (my first! her third) but we work out in Dubai. Flying over Saturday night, couple of days work in our UK offices on Mon/Tues then off to Glasto first thing Wednesday - can't wait!Both my parents are flying in from Dubai, be my Mums 2nd and my Dads 1st.

I contacted glastonbury@seetickets.com yesterday to change the names on my Worthy View tent, and they got it done and responded very quickly.

Might be a bit of a silly question, but does anyone know if the Hawkwind set will be purely acoustic? I thought I had seen someone mention that sets in the acoustic tent are not always acoustic sets.

I remember there was a rumour of a poo-pirate at Reading, where some guy was dressed as a pirate, and somehow managed to get in with a rubber dingy. Almost certainly bollocks, but the image is certainly a good one.
I heard something similar at Reading, but it was somebody had taken something which made them think going for a swim in the long drops would be a good idea. I never found out if the rumour was true or just a campfire myth.
