  1. My coach ticket (bought in April resales) just dropped into my inbox.

Maybe they are holding off any coach resales while these are delivered over the next few days to avoid issues with the system?

  2. What bugs me is why bother changing the go-live date on the weds tickets page (rather than have sold out) if they are not going to resale?

Unless see have glitches in their system it doesn't make much sense without a resale.

And why is GA page still up? Are they still issuing corporates or locals through it?

  3. Just realised next Tues is the 26th?

Maybe whoever was setting up the links accidentally put June rather than May as the go live date and that ties in with your info cityboy

    Straws, grabbing...

  4. Do we have any reason to believe that there may be one before Cityboy's ones?

No reason but it's a bit odd that they have prepped the wednesday coach links (and not the thurs ones) and then just turned them off.

Suggestive of it being sooner rather than later but it's all just guesswork as you think if they were just prepping for another time they would do both at the same time.

  5. Think of it from seetickets sysadmin point of view, they want it to work reliably so they'll work from the back to the front. That is they'll change the deeper parts first - So basically they'll add the tickets to the availability list (which we may not have visibility of), then change the event page (and possibly check that's visible and working), then change the root/main tickets page to link to it.

And then tweet it to the world

  6. i can if you dm me your email.

Dunno what they are playing at though, i would have put money on a resale today but i'm really confused

Maybe a bit more complicated to setup with all the coach options and the mixed amounts available per coach and they are taking longer to test / check.

Or someone was just having a chuckle at the end of the day.

  7. Iwas wondering why the 26TH JUNE WAS UP THERE !!!!

Well their system works on a date / time release so I guess setting the 26th June means that there is no chance of accidentally releasing tickets before the (maybe undecided) resale time.

  8. The behaviour of the page today is suggestive of an imminent resale

    - First the page comes online with "Tickets unavailable" message, same as at end of April resales therefore someone just re-enabled the event so the link worked

    - Secondly the "Tickets unavailable" changes to "Tickets available from 26th June", therefore admin has added more tickets to the event and set the go live date to 26th June so that they can check the links all work and look ready to go

    - Thirdly event is once again disabled after successful testing and once disabled the go live date will be set to today's date or earlier so all they need to do to go live is re-enable the link

As for time didn't someone suggest 7pm for a previous year's resales?

  9. Wednesday coach link is up but no tickets available yet - possibly testing and getting ready like yesterday.

Warning - if you load up the page and select coach destination form the drop down, this does not do a server check so to see if the availability has changed you need to refresh the whole page

  10. Missed out due to a 15 min meeting but well done to all those who persevered and got their tickets!

I was only trying for friends as had my own so not the end of the world but gutting nontheless after many hours of watching. But thanks to this forum for all the info and alerts (I relied on this thread alert and that was more than enough!) and for the endless optimism.

See you at the cider bus. :)

  11. Delving into the code on this page glastonbury.seetickets.com/content/gfl-resale-landing# shows a comment that suggests another link, that has yet to be made live:

    /event/glastonbury-2015-ticket-coach-travel-thursday/worthy-farm/867749

I'm not sure what the root for this link is, but would guess it might be seetickets.com ... any wiser heads out there got any thoughts?

    Siblin, for instance?

They've always been there - they were the original links for the resale in April. Sorry, not indicative of anything

  12. I don't see none of that when I look all I see is sold out

Pull back the curtain and View Source on the web page and you'll see a crazy new world that'll blow your mind. Either that or a load of confusing text that you should be happy you don't understand and can ignore and go on with your life :)

Text is commented out in the code and thus invisible to normal viewing modes.

  13. Yep, screw it. Neil, close off this thread.. I'm gonna tear down my page monitor. Hopefully Michael and Emily will be reading and cancel the festival.. oh and cancel Christmas while we're at it! ;)

Siblin, out of curiousity have you been tracking http://glastonbury.seetickets.com/content/gfl-resale-landing ?

Just noticed that the commented out text says "We have a <strong>very</strong> limited amount of ticket &amp; coach packages available." - do you know if this has changed recently as the use of "very" doesn't sound in line with the previous round of resales and I wonder if it has been prepped for another round or not?
