Depends how many of you there are I think and what you do back at base.  I stayed in rented caravans for a decade, where you could have an awning but it was extra.

Never bothered with it myself and never missed it.  If I was up and about most of the time we were in the festival.  If we wanted a sit back at the van then if it was grey or wet then we were inside, if it was sunny we were outside.

As for what @Bike_Like_A_Mum mentions about boots, in my case when I took them off I put them under the caravan.

Sound advice. As its just myself I think i'm not going to bother. Throw my boots under the van.

I'll be in the East Camper Fields cooking up breakfast and possibly having an early bird jager.

We'll be keeping an eye on the queues for Gate C and probably look to join them around 10ish.

    What about you?

Pretty much this. First time in the camper fields, slightly unsure as to when to head to the gates to go in.

  3. Back in to the thread.....needed to get the no ticket out of my mind for a while

Been speaking to people that have tickets and they are all still not 100% sure if they will pay their balance.

This gives me a lot of hope.

here's a bit of hope for you.

As it's not madge, there might be more tickets going back in the pot than there might otherwise be.

I recommend a couple of bars in borough market itself. Market Porter ,The Wheat sheaf or the Southwark tavern..

and I’m  assuming you’re south coast??

Ah nice one mate. Yeah someone mentioned The Wheat Sheaf.

    I'm down in Cornwall.

Good spot. It’s south side of London Bridge by borough market. I think one of the Mumfords part owns it..

Ah nice one. Planning on getting around that area earlier and checking out some bars. Make the most of my trip "up north"

And speaking of credit cards my Mrs had hers stolen last month.

I refuse to report it stolen as the person who nicked it is spending less than she was!

    I’ll get my coat........
