Not in my experience. I was there for Roger Sanchez in 22 and it was fine. Decent bar and a few places to sit. I'd imagine Norm's set was busy (although I think that was during the day). Like I say, the big crowds tend to miss it and head for the more established late-night areas. Well worth giving it a go for a few hours, maybe not enough to keep you interested all night though

Was also there in 22 for Rog and also every night in 23 but only noticed the secret bunker behind the stage on the last night.  Could barely hear some music, walked up to a mound of earth and within was a corridor to a hobbit like venue with 2 djs playing jungle.  Marvellous

  2. I caught Covid last year at the fest. Didn’t realise until I was so rough I had to leave early on the Sunday but I’m sure No Bones Jones food bought me an extra day and meant I could see McCartney.

US arena prices will blow your minds. A 16oz (483ml) can of local IPA at The Cure at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle a couple weeks back was $18.18

And they say China and Russia are the bad guys

Tempers seem to be getting a bit frayed on here. The only certainty is that we will have weather. The only thing we can do about it is prepare.

    Stop being reasonable

... sorry just remembered an even better stage they (PSB) played. Underneath The Lovell telescope at Jodrell Bank at the first ever Bluedot festival in 2016l! Now that was something else, perfection. Jeez that was a line up and a half for a festival in its first year, Jean-Michel Jarre, Underworld, Air, PSB, 65daysofstatic, Floating Points, Mercury Rev.... That got my eldest son into music that weekend, and he has never looked back and is now doing an A-level in music production (amongst others), so I will be forever thankful, happy times indeed that year

I saw them in Glade, which was wonderful and also in a castle in South Wales, they do seem to get some great venues.

My mate went to Warsaw to see them in a small underground venue and when Spitfire started all the Poles went mental.

Not sure if we already suspected this or not, and I know you can't always predict based on previous lineups, but I think we're missing at least 1 more park stage act.

  7. Imagine Hay Literary Festival managed to get William Shakespeare to headline and you thought about going but decided he might not be as good as he used to be so you went to see David Walliams instead.
