Recycling crew - did a medic stint as a youngster back in the nineties. I'm strictly litter now.
Tempted to take a risk with the thunderstorms...

I'm volunteering so have the option of going down tomorrow - how much rain are we talking for Sunday??

Can someone tell me if the finger is a good or a bad thing here? In fact, list me scenarios where the finger is good, where it is bad and where it is both. That'll be good for two more pages.
in short, you need to wear a cap and apply a lot of ointment, otherwise it can be really painful

this thread should be promoted to the Pyramid stage - it's much more entertaining than Guns N Roses

For those who went last night - what time did AM come on? Just wondering as I'm going tonight but probably won't make the support acts

I like the acoustic stage, I tend to wander in there of a hot afternoon with a pint of something nice from the Cockmill Bar. It's a gentle reminder to try and never become that person who sits in a chair and reads a newspaper, during the greatest festival of entertainment on the planet. I don't usually stay long

Isn't that the point of the acoustic stage?

awesome - I'm a Glastonbury veteran and this is music to my ears, thanks

Ticket bought. In terms of logistics, how far away are the car parks from the camping areas??

Apart from last year it has always been fine - stewards will find you a place. BT say they have learned lessons from last year and the map suggests there is more camping space this year.
As long as your tent is not vast there will be space.cheers

Considering getting a ticket but won't be able to arrive until Friday late afternoon - what is the camping situation likely to look like at this time?

Best:
Cauliflower cheese pie and chips (can't remember the name of the stall) - near the cider bus
Goan fish curry - went three times, always a winner although slightly disappointed with the breakfast kedgeree
Wood fired pizza from the teepee field
Special mention - free lunch from the Hare Krishna tent, generous portion of daal, salad, nuts and fruit - wonderful (but don't tell anyone else)
Worst:
Cheesey chips from West Holts - what was I thinking??
-
I have just cut my toenails.
Essential pre-festival prep. Easily forgotten.

Hi
Apologies at being a latecomer to this thread, but I'd be more than happy to help out here if anyone needs me. As someone who attended Glastonbury 25 I'm gutted to have not got a ticket for the big 50!

Hi
I am going to try for the resale tomorrow - I'm a massive Radiohead fan and after last years mudfest decided to give this year a miss. I was gutted when the headliners were announced. If anyone could help me out tomorrow I would appreciate it
Many thanks
