I have secured a golden ticket

Rang the cheese and grain earlier and they said it is apparently booked for a "private event".
I said I'd heard Foo Fighters were playing and the lady said "have you?" but did't deny it. Just kept telling me it was booked for a private event.

Yes, I agree. A lot of people will love it, and will buy a ticket off the back of it. Some will be very indifferent.

It's a pretty big for Camp Bestival. Very exciting.

Camp Bestival are announcing a headliner tomorrow as well.

To my mind, there are a lot of reasons to expect to them at Glastonbury.
They are headlining Download, but are not a 'British exclusive', as Aerosmith have been labelled. No Sonisphere this year, and they haven't been rumoured to play any other festival, Reading and Leeds falls a bit outside of their tour schedule.
They are free on the Saturday, and would be a good fit headlining the Other Stage up against Eddy on the main stage.
It would mean a pretty gruelling 4 day festival binge though, Denmark, Spain, Glastonbury and then back to Europe for Firenze Rocks in Italy.
I can't see why they are not an exclusive for Download, if they aren't playing Glastonbury. Haven't got any of their own shows lined up in the UK.

He performed last year on West Holts so it's not like he doesn't know which stage the main stage is.

I don't understand why they would have made all the costly long term infrastructure changes that they have recently if they have been seriously thinking of moving for years.

He would probably still play 14 times over the course of the festival.

I looked at their dates ad they are in Canada or something on Thursday I think. It would be a squeeze for them to get back, but definitely possible.
I have no reason to disbelieve this guy, but of course, there's always the chance it could be bollocks.

I wrote it in another thread but I'll write it on here too. I heard from the guy that usually gets our lot backstage passes to Silver Hayes every year (his sister is a secretary at Glastonbury HQ) that Adele will headline Saturday up against BMTH on the Other Stage
