  1. I'm going to my first Primavera Sound this year and I really want to go to the opening night with Phoenix and the brunch on sunday. I am reading stuff about a reservation system, but I can't find whether that has already started or not? Is it hard to get access?

And are there more names coming? If so, are we expecting big names?

  2. Does anyone want to swap two MySpace Hive tickets for regular Hive tickets? You get a bit more space and silence in the night, and the lines for the showers and stuff are shorter. My friends are staying at the regular Hive and we want to join them...

  3. Hi guys. I broke my leg during a skiing trip in april and now I can't attent Primavera. Its a huge pain in the ass to try to sell my ticket so I'm trying my luck here. 100 pounds and its yours. Weekend 1, I can transfer through DICE. And for those afraid I'm a scammer, I'll sent the ticket first in good faith.

Ps. Sorry if I'm not supposed to do this here

  4. Gutted. But expected. Am I the only one that still sometimes thinks: 'Is this real?'

Next year I am going to fly to the damn moon if thats what it take to see the Strokes live finally. Can't believe I waited my entire life to see them, and now its cancelled.

  5. I really don't think SOAD will be closing the festival. I don't think they'd want a headliner that more than 50% of the people don't enjoy at all (they might be very good but its a niche genre).

I don't think Strokes and Tame Impala will be performing together either, it would be perfect to me but not enough to sell out on daytickets (not even close). However, it seems like I can't be right on both. Unless they are going to use their 'reserve option' Kings of Leon.

    Tame - Pearl Jam

    Strokes - KoL

    Fnm - ToP - Kendrick

Volbeat - Soad - Foo Fighters

Lets see. We're definetly getting more (sub/co)-headliners.

Festileaks owners would play as dirty as they can for protecting the number of visits ot their site, and the money they get from advertisers. This time you’ve gone even further. Always the same history with you, guys.

I think I am well capable of reacting to this. I have been working with Festileaks for three years but have stopped for some years now. Festileaks only has very few people working there that even get money most people are volunteers that just love festivals. Its not big business, its still mainly a (prossefional) hobby. Advertising revenues are not that big.

So maybe a kind suggestion to stop being so ignorant ?

  7. Yes I'm starting to get very positive on Tame Impala. If they are doing festivals and that seems very likely, Rock Werchter is the kind of festival that definetly has them. Kendrick and Tame as headliners would be like the best possible scenario for me, sick and tired of the same big rock bands headlining over and over again and these two are the ones that were so brilliant when I saw them at Glastonbury and Lowlands they will ace it.

  8. Ideally, Tame would perform after Kendrick Lamar. Fits really well together I think although musically being completely different, its attracts the same typemof public. Dream combination for me at least. Seems to small to top the bill on friday but would still be well deserved. Strokes on friday with Tame Impala would be great too.

I do think however RHCP/Foo's/KoL will definetly be the friday headliner. If I could pick it would be KoL, its been quiet a while now.

Nothing special. I know announcements of them with no clue in it, the next day we’ve got a new name.

I don't get what you are saying? You mean they won't announce anything special this year anymore?

I don't really care if its going to be RHCP/KoL/FF's, all I want is The Strokes haha. Its the only headliner I have never got the chance to see because they never play in Belgium or Netherlands.

  10. Friday:

    Mø: 6

    Wombats:6.5

    Mac Demarco: 7

    Two Door Cinema Club: 8

    Tame Impala: 9

    Charlotte De Witte: 8.5

    Saturday:

    Vampire Weekend: 6.5

    Foals: 8

    Keane: 6.5

    Killers: 8.5

    Sunday:

    Years & Years: 3

    Kylie: 5.5

    Mylie: 6.0

    Billie Eilish 6.5

    Vampire Weekend: 7.5

    The Cure: 8.5

  11. This stage was insane. If Charlotte de Witte, Kraviz, Bicep etc. were booked here it would have been a lot more busy and I think this stage is better for techno than Pangea (although that one was great too).

  12. 1) Tame Impala

    2) The Killers

    3) Foals

Really hard to not put Two Door Cinema Club or The Cure into the top 3 since at any other festival they would have beem number ones but it seems like bands just give a little extra at Glastonbury.

Tame Impala completely blew me away, they will become headliners in the future.

  13. Thanks for all the help guys. Thinking about, last time I used my portable charger I probably used a cable that doesn't work properly so hopefully the one I have is fine. So much help in so little time haha, I like this comminity. Enjoy your festival guys!

if you say its the power packs that break ... it might not be .... some of the unofficial cables are often not very compatible and take a ridiculous amount of time to charge a phone ...

So the problem arises when you don't use the cable that comes with the power pack or when you use a different cable than the one you get when buying your phone? Which one should I use?

  15. Does anyone have a golden tip for charging your phone at the site? The portable chargers that you can hire were useless to me as it only did 40% and had a massive queu. I do have my own portable charger but I've been to multiple festivals where my charger broke down.

  16. The weather is just amazing! Can't believe I'm travelling to England and I'm going to have 29 degrees! Its going to be sooo pleasant at night. So excited. If Foals will really play the Park Stage my weekend can't go wrong :)

Much better temperatures for a festival though.

British don't really like warmth? 23/24 degrees is perfect in my opinion, get to wear your shorts and its warm at night too.

I've been to Sziget in Hungary twice and the first year it was between 36-40 degrees all week (festival is 10 days). The dust was everywhere. It was mental.
