    So what we guessing/thinking most likely if it's this evening Annie Mac on radio 1, 6music, or just Glasto's social media / website?

    It'll just be dropped off of Glasto's twitter/facebook unless they pre-announce to listen to a certain radio show.. Ive signed up to get push notifications of Glasto's tweets - don't have to be constantly online checking that way

    He certainly should be - he's playing a festival in Holland on the Sunday night.

    I take pre-booked dates with a pinch of salt now.

    Any announcement will probably be the day splits of the acts we already know, along with some fleshing out of the smaller stages and the dance stages.

    doubt we'll get day splits yet, definitely have stage splits..

    Last year Muppetmark from these forums ran a @Secretglasto Twitter account with up-to-date information on secret gigs around Glastonbury. It was a great way to keep track of everything and with Twitter's text notifications even worked with my very old and not at all smart phone. Sadly for us (but obviously not for him), Muppetmark is actually going to the festival this time and so will presumably be too busy having fun to do this.

    Another +1 for the @secretglasto twitter, managed to catch Beans on Toast/The 1975/Metronomy secret sets last year thanks to them.

    Also managed to get out of Oxylers campsite early enough to miss Kaiser Chiefs open the Other...

    I've only been to the past 3 festivals and I find it really difficult to differentiate between years as they all seem to merge into one. But my favourite was probably 2013, simply for the fact that all my mates went that year and we had a campsite group near to 50 people...

    Just an idea with The Who cancellation, is there any chance they'd combine the 2 Paris dates into a larger venue on the Monday with previously purchased Sunday tickets still valid?!

    Still think (if true) it's shit of them the way they've treated the 6000, but can't say I'm disappointed as have never been able to afford their own tours!

    I tweeted mentioning that Crystal Fighters had a 'Glastonbury shaped hole' in their festival dates and Gilbert from the band favourited it. Does that count as a semi self-confirmation?!

    Providing it's not a date error, could Florence not headline the Other against Kanye? Would give a solid alternative to the 'petition signers'

    Would recommend to anyone to go see Slaves live show. Caught them in a pub headlining above DZ Deathrays and they were phenomenal. Seen them 3 times since and their live show is just great chaotic fun!

    I've heard talk of people having wristbands wrestled off their wrists mugging style at Reading in the past, no clue if that's more than urban legend. I'd never willingly offer an examination of anything on my person to anyone who didn't have clearly visible identification on their clothing as required.

    With Reading being in the city centre, many people myself included pop into town (we have an annual visit to a pub on the outskirts!) and there's often shady looking fellas outside 'selling wristbands' and approaching people for wristbands...

    Had thieves pretending to be 'wristband checkers' in 2011, think that's one way they try to scout/get into tents... Luckily me and a friend asked to see I.D. before they went scurrying off into the night...
