I'm drinking up the cheap cocktail in a bag I bought to sample, it is so vile I'm having to chuck lemonade in.
And I've bought some bits and pieces, love the flared leggins but I'm too fat so will stick with my peacock tutu.
And I've checked on here a lot.

My daughters would be jealous, but then they are 4 and 6. I would love to see some 80's pop on the line up, maybe a bit of Spandau Ballet or Duran :-)

We found the piano bar last year while it was still being constructed. Never managed to get in, but we did sit outside listening to someone playing sea shanties on a piano in the field.

Can I get my breath back before that climb upto worthy view? Help yourselves to gin, flapjack and tangfastics.
Actually I like a fire so I might just shut my eyes here...

I had such a great time last year that this time there's a few of us going including my sister and nephew who are celebrating their 50th and 30th birthdays. I think I might be starting to bore a few people by going on about Glasto a bit too much, so I had better start posting here a bit more,

Another lurker reporting in , first Glasto last year as part of my 40th birthday bucket list. So pleased to have tickets again this year. Did a trip to the site last week and it is crazy to see it without the festival there.
59 days to go

We're stopping off in Glastonbury next week for a couple of days and want to have a stroll round the site. Looking forward to seeing the site empty.

I just popped in this thread to see when the food line up is being announced, will the Goan Fish Curry stall headline West Holts etc and I see to my delight people are already building it up in lists :-) brilliant work people.

Awesome photos, loved looking at them and you've encouraged me to take my D90 this year.

I've had to register just to reply to this. I've wanted to go to Glastonbury for years but for various reasons have never managed it. 2013 was my first year and part of my 40th birthday celebrations, but I have to be honest without the option of camping somewhere with showers and other facilities I would have gone. I've done my share of wild camping and going without showers in the past but as I'm now attached to an insulin pump 24/7 I have to be a little more cautious.
That said we had an amazing weekend, the extra walk to the tent was worth it for us, and I'm hoping we can get tickets for next year. It's definitely not for everyone though, as I've been able to tell by some of the comments I've had when we say we went ;-)

Husband told me yesterday that he is at a work do in Manchester on the Tuesday night, so I will let him have a couple of hours sleep then roll him into the car about 5am for the drive down from Leeds.
