Also coach travel guaranteed to have rest breaks, air con and toilets. They put so much effort into promoting coach travel but the coaches are often horrendous

More wood chippings/bark down in places they know will get muddy before it starts to actually get muddy.
Ah yes forgot this one! Considering how dangerous some areas of the site are I can't believe they don't do this more

Don't want to sound like a negative nigel but what do you hope they've improved for this year?
For me it's more compost toilets, they seem to have been reducing these over the last few years, and more toilet capacity by the pyramid/opposite West Holts
Also bigger venues in the naughty corner - maybe it was just been me but a few of them had ridiculous queues last year!

Hi All,
Anyone know if the See Tickets Coaches have toilets onboard? Would prefer to start drinking as early as possible but don't want to be caught short!
Thanks!

Hi,
Late to this but i went to Glasto 17 and Bestival 17. I didn't think Bestival was too bad, apart from when they closed the stages and sent everyone back to their tents because it was so windy! I find that Glasto is muddy whatever happens, i've been 6 times and worn wellies probably 90-95% of the time.
Glasto 16 was horrendously muddy. Several areas including most stages were several inches deep, so not slippy but so knackering to walk around. Especially as it's so big.
Main tips are buy a campchair when you get there so you can sit down, or at least a cheap poncho that you can use to sit down on!

Hi All,
I've always got the train down but this year am getting the coach from London Victoria. I have 2 questions:
1. Are there toilets on board? I'd like to start drinking early but don't want to get stuck needing a wee!
2. What's people's experience of queueing for the coach? I've read that usually they only allow people on at their allotted times and that the coaches are pretty good time-wise, however others have said it's been a 2 hour wait and they just get people on the first coach that comes (though that may only have been last year). My coach is at 10 if that helps

Hi all, I have a coach ticket from Victoria tomorrow for 4pm but ideally want to go earlier. I know people in the past have said you can turn up and they just put people on coaches as they come, even if it's not the time on their ticket. Is this still the case?

Hi All,
Travelling down from London Victoria tomorrow, 3rd time on coach but first time with National Express (i've done ticket/coach combo with See from North Greenwich before). A couple of questions:
1. I'm booked for 12pm but hoping to go earlier. I've heard that the times essentially go out the window, so if i arrived at say 11 is there a chance i'd just get put on a bus at that time?
2. Does the bus take you directly to Glastonbury, or does it go via the separate bus station where they transfer you onto a shuttle bus?
Cheers in advance, have a good festival all!

There would be no improvements in sound by arranging the field as you describe, and sightlines would only be improved for those on the sloped bits by virtue of the increased gradient - for those on the flat sections of ground sight of the stage would be degraded. Added to that any settling on the newly landscaped field could well create slight depressions which would cause those on the flat sections to try to move forward to the edge of the slope. Given the now increased gradient, the potential for slippery ground and the high probability of people wanting to be on the sloped sections, it would be an H&S nightmare.

if carlsberg done stupid threads.......

Obviously it's a hill at the moment, but would they ever consider making it more platformed? For example flat ground 25m deep, then a gentle rise of a couple of metres every 10m or so? Imagine an ampitheatre but with longer ledges

Hi guys just wondering if anyone could answer a few questions re getting the train back to London on mid Monday afternoon? Basically some friends are considering going back Mon afternoon on an open return ticket, is this a good idea or asking for trouble with queues as trainline currently shows trains every 2 hours! Anyone got any estimates on how long these queues are? Also do you literally have to stand and queue? Lastly are there portaloos at the station? Thanks.

Hi guys,
Never got the coach before, i'm going with SeeTickets from the O2 on Thursday at 10am. Anyone know if there's loos onboard? Don't really fancy going 3-6 hours without one! Also anyone got any details on coach times at this time in the past? Cheers.
