There's just as much chance of me driving on the motorway in the snow with 1% charge as someone driving with 1% of liquid fuel - not much. In a comparable situation, the BEV would last longer.
Anyway, how many times a year do you get stuck on the motorway in snow? I've been driving for 30 years and it's never even been close once?
While you're worrying about something that'll never happen, I've driven 36k miles virtually emission free and for ~1.5p/mile 👍

I do wonder one day when the vast majority are EV's and we get one of our every rarer Snow Events - then what. Thousands of cars stuck on motorways with power being used to keep warm giving flat or near flat batteries.................. then the road opens up but one in 10 cars cannot now move!!
Don't get me wrong, I am all for Green energy etc, the sooner the better - but EV's are not and never have been a logical easy way to go. Hydrogen was quicker, cheaper and easier but the indutry and invested heavily in Electric so that's where we wentHydrogen isn't efficient enough at individual vehicle level, plus my EV will sit with the heater running for 24+ hours, much longer than a liquid fuel car

I've driven an EV there for the last two festivals, I just topped up on the M5 while I got some food on the way home - they don't need charging every time you stop.

I was there, but I've watched QOTSA and Phoenix on iPlayer and I would have enjoyed those more - I just got caught up in the hype (obviously not saying other people shouldn't have enjoyed it).

I'm staying in Sticklinch again this year, but in a Yurt instead of a Bell Tent. Can anyone remember (or still have the email from last year) which colour area the Yurts are in? (Bell tents were in yellow)
I've found this photo, but can't really make out the tent types.

Arrive Sticklinch/Worthy View Thursday mid-morning, well rested and relaxed. Walk the 500m from the car park to my tent, set my sleeping bag and mat out. Go fetch the beer from the car, hopefully meet one of the guys with the barrows to help carry it. Walk into site to have a look around.

Saw King Gizzard in Warsaw, Lausanne and London this month. Got to be up there with the best live bands around.

They just turn up every now and then, little notice, and sound brilliant. I had already boxed off tickets for Liverpool for them in a few weeks but this is a cool bonus. Sound is really good at Live Rooms and they absolutely deserve good quality tech.
I saw Space last year, they were great!
