Personally I think it is really likely that they will headline the Other stage on the Friday for no other reason than it kinda fits with what they typically do on an album run.

They haven't actually played a "live" set (not DJing) at glasto since 2019 so it will be a 5 year gap, they did arenas last year  and would be a good alternative to Dua Lipa (if that is who we are getting on Friday Pyramid).

Chemical Brothers on the Other Stage is just a classic Glasto slot.

I reckon it'll be a clash nightmare for me, fully expecting The Smile to be on at the same time either at woodsies or the park as well.

Mmm exciting, hopefully that will happen.

Yeah it is really expensive, but I kinda think, it's for charity, it's a great venue that they probably will never play again, also it likely clears up a major clash headache for me on the Friday of Glasto.

Forgot about the 9am sale and missed out on standing tickets.   Do you think they are likely to be at Glasto this year?

  3. So I think it looks like you are allowed to sell them on Twickets, and then you pay Kaboodle to change the name on the tickets, does anyone know please, are you allowed to sell them on Twickets and get the name changed if Boomtown hasn't sold out of tickets?   Also, would the people buying the tickets then have to get the coach from Exeter?

Sorry, realised I didn't reply direct to your answer. We need two but thank you very much for the offer anyway. Perhaps if any more helpers become available you can bear me in mind.

Ah that's a shame, yes will do 🙂 and best of luck for Sunday!

Just wondering if there is any room left in your resale group please? I would be eternally grateful and of course, repay you in whatever the acceptable fashion is!! I do remember helping someone out on here a few years ago and I think the Cider bus was a popular place for the said "repayment" to be carried out!  It's just the two of us needing tickets.

Hi, There is space for 1 person, how many tickets are you after?

Hi Ayrshire Chris, are you already helping a group on Sunday, if not group 3 are looking for helpers? 🙂

They are coming through and have had mine confirmed for a few weeks but am a returning regular volunteer.  What i would say is that if you do not get through with the initial round of acceptance for volunteering, people do drop out and spaces do sometimes come up as we get closer.

It is not like Oxfam as the scale of their operations is much larger.

I would hazard a guess that those who have been offered a place with WaterAid (and have not yet accepted) and are also trying in the resale this weekend may then turn down the WaterAid offer.  The landscape shifts over the next few weeks.

Thanks for your reply Jay Pee, I've got lucky, as I managed to get a volunteering role with Oxfam late one night, when I was keeping an eye on their website 🙂

Anyone heard from WaterAid yet? Or have any clue as to when we might?

I never heard back from them, a couple of people that I know of had an email from them on 23rd March, and had their places confirmed, but I also know of a few others that haven't heard from them.  Apparently they said we should hear from them by the end of April?

I have med and also Volunteer with them all year round on bits and bobs.

I don't mind admitting I first volunteered with them in 2019 just to get into the festival but it opened a door for me and am in it for the long haul now.  Cut me and I bleed WaterAid Blue

That's so good, I've got a feeling that is the way forward for me now as well, if I can get my foot in the door..

WaterAid are releasing slots now.  Just been offered Clear up Crew
Positive is on site from the Mon / Tue before but no shift until the Tuesday after the festival.
Negative is it can be a challenging role physically and mentally and ten days in tent.

    Please oh please weather Gods...

Excellent.   Have you volunteered with them before?

Thanks stuie, I can't see the transport section in my profile, is that something that will come up if you manage to get a volunteering place do you know?  My current profile is just an email address & phone number.

No you cant. Unless you bring a proper live in vehicle and ok it with Oxfam. Limited places for campervans etc.

Ah ok, thanks.  I do have a bongo, so maybe that might be ok.  That's if I get a volunteering spot of course 🙂
