The tweet  that Swifty will play 2020 Glastonbury has strangely appeared on the festival homepage.

The Glastonbury site doesn't control what Tweets appear in that, it's an embedded Twitter component, and because Mr Science Brain has made Twitter loads better by firing all the staff and not not paying his third party bills, you get exciting new features like this.

    Hmmmmm

I used PayPal for one transaction and so there's actually no Billing Address in the order.  However, Delivery Address is identical on both..

Oh my f**king god what is the point? You've sold the tickets you dickheads, you've got the money? Why are you now putting yourselves to a bunch of effort and pissing people off after the fact?

  3. Genuinely don't think Emily would wanna give Spice Girls the legend slot, sort of knocks off some of the prestige. Feels like the acts the festival likes to book have a sort of prestige and inter-generational staying power. Spice Girls are purely a novelty nostalgia act for people who were there in their brief heyday. Feels like a 3rd down Pyramid booking for a big act who just wants to do it like Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Foo Fighters, but would their ego's take that?

Plenty of decent album tracks left from Reputation and Lover but not much else worthwhile. If she finishes the US dates without playing ME!, that’ll be something.

Behave yourself. Mary's Song? Change? Tell Me Why? Better Than Revenge? Superman? Safe & Sound? Message In A Bottle? I Heart ?? Christmas Tree Farm? Everything Has Changed? I could go on, I really could.

Vibrating excitedly at the news Long Live is getting added into the setlist. I'll need CPR if we get Long Live, State Of Grace, August and Cruel Summer in one show.

On the other hand, seeing plenty of people who only ever had negative things to say about Taylor prior to the Folklore era being rejected, so that’s nice.

My sister is going b-a-n-a-n-a-s at me because her husband was registered hasn't got a ticket and me and my partner got them bought for us lmao. He literally doesn't like Taylor Swift, she just wants him to be there. I can't help it if somebody likes me enough to buy me a ticket 💁‍♀️

  6. Don't really care whether somebody considers them really Queen or whatever, the important thing is that Adam Lambert is a top showman, belting out some of the greatest songs ever written with the living members of the band and expensive stadium level production. A good time is a good time.

I'm aware of the Nazi salute which was done in the context of a lyric and clearly not meant sincerely. And although the kissing fans / ID thing is sleazy, it's not as sleazy as kissing under-age fans.

    Am I missing anything else?

Regardless of it being less bad than if the fans were underage, it's still extremely gross on quite a few levels.

    Erm yeah, the racism.

Does the little 'bit' where he goes like he's about to make a racist comment and the band cuts him off. He's made a load of racist jokes on a podcast and is continuing to dismiss people's completely called for distaste of it, literally on stage as part of the show.

The whole stick is that he's edgy and offensive to a lot of people, the people in question are largely minorities who Glastonbury would do well not to let him turn the Pyramid into a hostile environment for.

  8. Would honestly feel quite disappointed in the festival if they booked The 1975 to headline. I know a lot of headliners have had problematic pasts, but Healy's doing actively hostile edgelord bullshit on stage. Giving him the Pyramid to do that would be kinda gross.

  9. I'm finally gonna see her 🤘😹🤘

Disregard everything I ever said about not going, it all went out the window when somebody said "I got u a pitch standing ticket, u want?"

All this faffing around to prevent just stop oil from getting tickets. It’s ridiculous.

They do not have the cajones to mess with Swifties

One of my friends is actually not even going to go anymore because of this insanity. They had tickets to one of the la dates and just doesnt want to deal with this bullshit now.

Taylor Swift is my favourite artist, I have never seen her play live. On paper the Eras tour is the perfect thing for me, but everything about the reality of it makes me need a lie down. I'm having no part in it. I hope everybody who wants tickets gets them and everybody who goes has a lovely time, but it is absolutely not for me.

Nah that theory makes no sense. Why would she have just written a song in the present tense about Calvin failing to propose or put any effort in, they broke up about a million years ago

Bejeweled totes about Calvin. Loads of the songs are retrospective, it's the Eras album.

  13. All kinda arbitrary but I reckon Rihanna on her comeback tour could be one of their biggest ever coups.

Taylor Swift when booked was far less hot of a property than she is right now. She'd been on a world tour every two years like clockwork up until that point, she was doing other festivals and her last tour had undersold.

there was a theory flying around that Question..? was about it him too. To go with Bejewled clearly being pretty savage about Joe, it makes sense 😞

Nah don't think Question fits, on board with that being about Bieber and Selena

Wouldn’t be surprised if some of the Joe songs get cut for the international legs based on how pissed off she looks here 😬

    Huge oof

Seen some suggestions that Ivy is about an emotional affair with that 1975 vermin while she was with Joe and I'm in the foetal position crying and rocking and mumbling 'its not true' over and over.

  16. My 10th time seeing them and maybe the best. Honestly thought they'd never match the intensity of the early days when they played small scuzzy venues but they properly made it work in by far the biggest setting I've seen them in. Loved it.

  17. Used to cry every Glastonbury Sunday like clockwork even before I was guzzling down 10mg of estradiol per day. These day I cry at nothing like 4 times a week on average. Imagine how I got when CMAT did Nashville, imagine how I got when CMAT did Wanna Be A Cowboy, imagine how I got when Bird On The Wire did Chelsea Hotel, imagine how I got when Bird On The Wire did So Long Marianne, imagine how I got when Lil Nas X did Montero, imagine how I got when Caroline Polachek dedicated a song to SOPHIE, imagine how I got when I was standing alone in the crowd with everyone singing along to Your Song and then as the second chorus hit I felt arms around my waist and my partner goes in my ear "I had to find you, I could not leave you alone for this one" 😭😭😭

A miracle I wasn't in the welfare tent with dehydration tbqh
