For those of you who, like me suffer cold feet at night, even with socks...?
Heat pads for pain make a decent hot water bottle to slip into your sleeping bag. They’re particularly good when you can’t get hold of hot water at that time of night. The poundshop do their version too, so a cheap solution to an annoying problem. ??

It could also be argued that Oxfam’s second hand clothes are significantly more expensive than some traders of new clothes...
I’d certainly agree with that and given what is in our local branch I don’t think there’s an argument to suggest that they’ve been ethically made either.

I understand why they’re saying this, though it’s a little late in the day.
As a separate thought, are they going to ban traders from selling plastic rain ponchos? You know the thin, crappy ones which pretty much tear as soon as they’re opened?

Aaah thank you Wingnut!
On the basis of what you’ve both said, I better get myself another powerbank!

You do get a TG wristband and the main Glastonbury one. Just show your TG wristband to get in and out and as above always have your ticket and get a pass out when you leave site to get back in.
No lockups. There is a small shelter next to where the hair dryer station is that I believe has power but no where you can leave unattended.
It is a fair walk when you've decided you've had enough for a bit which is obviously worse depending on weather. I'd say 10 mins to the Pyramid at a reasonable pace and a bit longer back when you're either inebriated or knackered!
I have never seen a shuttle bus that does that trip or as above would actually be of any benefit.
It is good though, never really had any problems there. Bit of advice, as soon as you wake up walk directly to the showers or have one late at night because once everyone has come around it is very busy (although reasonably fast moving) I prefer an 2am one but have crashed a few times, got up early and had one, by the time i've done that and grabbed a coffee the queue is pretty long.
Enjoy!

Aaah thanks so much Smash!
Its all a bit of a mystery to me this year, so all input is welcomed. Guess I’m going to have to see if we can head towards Gate B to drop me first and work something out on the way home.

Hi all!
First time in Tangerine Fields for me, having stayed in WV previously. I have a few questions:
Do TF campers get another wristband?
Is there a lock up to charge powerbanks at TF?
Is the hill walk to TF as awful as WV? (Gotta get myself mentally ready for that! ?)
I’m arriving with others who are staying in WV, which is the opposite side of the site. Do you know if there is a shuttle bus that could get me from WV to or near TF?
Thanks

I've got one of these. Ok to sleep on but be prepared for a struggle putting it together; especially the first time.
Yeh the reviews seem to suggest it’s a ball ache to put together. I’m gonna have a test run today and spray a bit of WD40 at the ends. Hopefully that speeds things up.

Halfords have camping beds for £10 at the minute. Worth a punt for the price. ?

Maybe you can make a pre-mix bottle of espresso martini?
The combination of the coffee, Kahlua plus sugar sends me west! ?

Desperado is annoyingly expensive. I'd like to take some cans of it, but seems so over priced for what it is.
That's a lot of booze for a non drinker btw. Hope you pace yourself!

Will not overdo it. I have Bluedot and Kendal Calling following Glasto. Whatever does not get drank can be used there.
Home & Bargain have 4 x 500ml cans for £5.99, making 24 cans/12 litres =£35.94. A decent deal to keep an eye out for. ?

Aren't all dumps sit-down dumps? ?
Ask the hoverers....??

One for the germaphobes....
There are times when only a sit down dump will do, so I always pack a small pump action spray bottle of eco-friendly antibacterial spray. Giving the loo a wipe before and after makes that type of game of thrones a little easier to bear. ??

Presumably its not too late to have a sale if there's still competitions going on as the competition tickets will surely have yet to be printed... right?
My thoughts were that they'd just leave the tickets at the office for you to collect on the day.

Just when I'd given up all hope and cancelled my annual leave yesterday then had a face like a smacked arse when Annie Mac played a glasto medley this morning..... Now See decides it's the right time to keep playing around with our emotions. F*ck you See, f*ck you!

It's 7am here and I've just nearly had a stroke when the alert came through and the 3G signal started playing up on both phones; so I've ran to the balcony while half asleep and glasses-less, tripped over my flip flop and nearly ended up crashing through the glass doors. Not sure I can take more of this torture!

I'm pretty sure I'd have given up on Glasto tickets if Jamaica would have been the alternative! Enjoy!
It ain't an either/or situation. I want both!!!

At the risk of sounding like a selfish prick, I'm glad there was no sale yesterday as I was completely out of action. However I'm here ready, sweating my arse off in my hotel lobby leeching the free wifi and missing out on the gorgeous Jamaican sun all in the hope of bagging a ticket. So come on See, bring it!!!!!

I gotta say all this waiting around isn't half dispiriting! All week I like everyone else here have been ready for it, however we're now going into the 2nd week and I've got a 10 hour flight on Wednesday, so it's sod's law that the sale will be then. I only need a single ticket too....

Out of 17 of us going, I was the only one who missed out, so I need just the 1 ticket for me. I'd really appreciate any help offered in nabbing a ticket, so please feel free to PM me if you can assist. Much love!

That's very strange... surely there can't be another official resale? Unless they're opening up for competition entrants? That'd be a bit of a piss take!
Yes it definitely has 'new registrations' as well as editing old ones. It's either a mistake or like you said there may be another official sale....
-
Has anybody else seen that they've re-opened the registrations? Unusual....

What have you done today to get ready for Glastonbury 2019?
