That's a beauty salvador. Space to stand up in and everything. I guess you don't camp in the more popular fields or are you there on Tuesday night queuing?
Queued only once over night and ended up in a similar position to every other year. Always been in or around Pyramid purely because it's the first sizeable patch of grass we find. I would never do the Tuesday night again, screwed my body clock up more than a flight to the midwest.

4 of us have shared this for the past 5 fests, its only takes up the space of 4 x 2 man tents, if not less space.

I was there in 2007 & 2010. The weather in the surrounding years is much more to my liking, a bit of rain, a bit of sun, a bit of mud. a nice mix

To be honest if it did happen I wouldn't let it spoil the experience.
Belongings can be replaced and I'll only take what I can lose without tears. I wouldn't let the feckers have the satisfaction of spoiling it for me through their own faults. Probably give me the impetus to party harder

A large number of smaller or local acts have to pay for their tickets then arrange to play or find work in the festival to grab a slot.
Some may see it as fortune to have such a large scale event on their doorstep at which they have a platform to play at. I'm certain that any of the bands/artists in my area would love to have such an opportunity.

I still haven't seen one of these things 'in the flesh' so to speak. I'm not quite sure what to do when I see my first one. I get the impression I'm suppossed to kill the person on the other end of it, but this doesn't sit comfortably with me.
Wouldn't it be better to create a collective name for these people that was so derogatory that nobody linked in to their own Zeitgeist would want to be associated with such an un cool group? This would nip it in the bud in a short time I suspect.
