I'm glad i'm giving festivals a miss next year. Surely when they announce part of the line up they announce a couple of the main stage headliners? Not some piss poor Paulo Nutini rip off.

I enjoyed Leeds this year. Saw 19 bands. Although I found the price of the food and drink very expensive. The Cure were fantastic.
Will probably give it a miss next year though as the camping was pretty brutal for me this year. But I still enjoyed it.

The Thursday must be something special then! But id rather have Green Day for 30 mins than a Enter Shikari DJ set for 2 hours.

What a fucking joke that Green Day are at Reading but not Leeds. Everyone pays the same. Green Day are a £50 plus band easily. Id like to see how they are going to compensate us. If not I just won't be returning. Simple as that.

2 Breakfast Stands on the whole site? Are they insane? There will be around 70k-90k of people on the site and they'll have to get their breakfast within a 5 hour period. It will be impossible for everyone to get it.
I for one will probably end up buying it in the end. Don't fancy waiting 3 hours for a bit of bacon on a roll.

You have to printer locker voucher off. Well that's lockerhouse anyway. Talk about cutting the costs.

The facts are there. Leeds is a better festival than Reading.

Just because its on tv and is south doesn't make it a better festival.
Reading is over rated to say the least.

I didn't either. The locker is about £15 but its a small price to pay to keep your stuff secure and safe.
Im planning on using my hipflask with whiskey in to sneak into the arena. Maybe put it down the side of my boots.
Like you said, I dont mind paying for a few beers but if you're planning on getting Smashed you'll have to spend £40 +. That's why im sneaking drink in. Woo!

Im still waiting for early birds from see tickets to. I've already got my weekend ticket. Would have thought they would of sent them way earlier than this.

I hope it doesn't rain. But last year at Leeds (Friday) it rained all fucking day! But it was probably the best day at the festival imo.

Got my weekend ticket this morning from Ticketmaster. (Leeds). Still waiting on early bird from See Tickets.

£200 should be enough. Im taking shite loads of beer though as well. It is a bit expensive in the arena. But you might as well enjoy yourself while there.

How can people see Maccabees over Cure? Seeing The Cure will be a once in a lifetime experience. They won't be at a festival again in this country for god knows when.
