  1. Michael Eavis himself was quoted saying he wished more people would hop the fence.

Lots of people do find other ways than tickets. I myself have never bought an official ticket. The first year I came I bought a band ticket from my mate for £50. I've worked many years and even the couple I've blagged my way in once there I've found useful things to get on with. The paying punters are only a part of the rich tapestry that is Glasto.

  2. You'll be alright getting into the carpark without a ticket. I've done it several times. Just tell them your friend is meeting you at the gate with your ticket because you're working on the info points or similar.

I always employ my favourite tactic of telling the steward I'm talking to that the last one I spoke to said it would be fine then pointing back and waving. They have no clue anyway and don't want to disrupt traffic flow. Plus you have a car park ticket.

  3. Oh ok. I hadn't heard about camplight but I just checked out their site. Interesting

I didn't see anything that looked like their area. I'm back up next week so I'll spy it out. Maybe take my SLR. Pics I got today are poor.

  4. Camp light?

Did get a couple of pics but they're on my phone. Will get them off tomorrow. Didn't realise there had been crew camping down there previously. I guess the glade lot had to camp somewhere. I believe its Arcadia, Avalon and some other areas crew that are there now.

  5. ..down to the farm today.

Sun was shining and its a hive of activity there. Looking great.

I dropped off a caravan for Arcadia in their crew camping area. Definitely seems to be a chunk of the bottom end of Pennard Hill Ground thats been devoted to crew now. Something to bear in mind if you plan to camp there.

  6. I'm going to take one of those tarps that are black on one side and silver on the other. That combined with some hazel poles, cable ties, duck tape and paracord should enable me to cobble something together.

  7. PLEASE let this be true! Them + Rodriguez are the two on the list I'm most excited about. Well, and The Stones <ducks>.

Kitty, I 'm a fool and I wanna touch it - Miaow miaow miaow miaow miaow miaow!

    Amazing.

  8. The subterannean piano bar is awesome depending on what time you end up there. In 2010 I stumbled in there with a friend and as we settled down to enjoy the fun I looked up into the royal box only to realise that Michael Eavis was the elected king. I then heard a commotion and turned to see one of my best friends in the stocks dressed as King Charles. It was a trippy night. :prankster:

  9. Still going..

They split for a few years then reformed with a new guitbassist. Five albums now.

They're bigger in the states and japan but their tours still sell pretty well.

I saw them last year in Bristol and they were ace.
