Wolf Alice tickets are a very reasonable 25 notes for Ally Pally, will make the LCD hit more bearable.
I thought you wanted a hit?

Sorry if this has been asked somewhere else..
I'm trying for the coach resale tonight for me and my mate who is currently travelling somewhere in south america..
he left me his registration details; his number is 8 digits while mine is 10.
Is this okay cos he renewed an old one or is he in for some gutting news when he returns from a world without 3g?

I fell in love at Glastonbury 2009, at the tender age of 16. Me and my mates were having a dance at the wine bar when a beautiful (much) older woman (29 as it turned out) started dancing fairly raunchily with me. She wanted to come back to my tent but I relented because I had a girlfriend at the time.. who I stayed with til I was 19, and now despise. Talk about life's great regrets, I could have been a hero.
One of the songs we danced to, by the way, was Satisfaction... and as such is the song that makes me think of Glastonbury more than any other (well, that and Tender).. When the Stones play it this year I won't know what to do with myself.
-
.. Add to that The Cribs - Men's Needs, Women's Needs, Whatever. There is too many huge songs in succession for that album not to be played from start to finish.
-
Most albums for the first 6 months or so.. Peace, Palma Violets, Foals for example are on heavy rotation at the minute.
The Libertines - Up The Bracket, The Strokes - Is This it, The Heartbreakers - LAMF and, 'Glastonbury-Wise', The Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not.. tend to be some of those that, long-term, I can't help but listen to one track and not play the lot.
-
Daughter - Landfill..
Beautiful song, fantastic album..

Hell im 23 and feel out of touch with all this youth music! The arctics where the newest band I knew when the line up came out. I dont watch any of the music channels nor listen to radio 1 so i was always going to be slightly screwed.

Popular choices but Do You Remember The First Time and Tender were both unbelievable moments that give me goosebumps every time I'm reminded of them.

I can't think why anybody should consider swooping in with a single sentence condemnation - with no reasoning, justification or call - unless they were simply trying to raise their post count.
It's like - I want to contribute but I only know one song. And I don't like that song. That's it!
Very strange behaviour.
I didn't say there was anything "wrong" with your post - but of course I disagree - I just think it's bizarre that people do such things online.
-
I love how people have come into a thread entitled "Dexy's Midnight Runners" just to let us all know how little they think of their most popular song. That's time well spent, isn't it? Still. Those post counts won't raise themselves.
-
Come On Eileen may well be the worst song ever written.
-
Cannot believe there is talk of 'taking' 2010 weather, as if will do. It won't just do, it would be better than any of us could possibly hope for.

I have it on good authority that Mutoid Waste, the guys behind all the structures at the Unfairground, are also doing something with the pyramid stage this year. No idea what that might entail but interesting nonetheless..
-
this year i'll either be going with your standard roll mat (lightweight and easy to just attach to backpack) or possibly self inflating mattress if i can be bothered
-
Only ever taken a sleeping bag with clothes as a pillow.. always far too shattered/inebriated to yearn for anything more

Last time around I saw 2 girls trying to use their shewee's in the male urinals surrounded by a bunch of lads egging them on and dribbling. Unsurprisingly the poor ladies got stage fright and fled in a hurry.
I have also seen a lady drop trow and squeeze out a Cleveland steamer next to a fence in one of the tent fields very late one night too. Nasty

There is every chance that this was me, simply because that's something I can't help but say alot when FL are being mentioned...
Towards the left side of the stage, fairly close but far enough back that it wasn't stupidly busy? (We needed to have enough room for the group singalongs)
