Edit: 75 grand if i remember correctly seems about the right price comparison

Gonzoesque in nature. I liked it.

I don't think the registration has been closed as such. I registered my daughter towards the end of May

Compare that photo to one I took during Goldfrap last year and you can see how many more flags there were this year

I had exactly the same problem during madness, I would have had no idea what was going on if it wasn't for the screens which some of the time were blocked by flags anyway, and if not, you usually ended up with a camera shot of a flag

He is right - the basic idea I think is to change a part of the molecule that isn't significantly involved in creating the biochemical effects of MDMA. Then you have a new chemical that has similar effects to MDMA but isn't listed as an illegal drug.

The ones that appear to be photoshopped look more like they are hdr photography.
This is a technique to merge two (or more) photos taken at different tonal ranges. This gives the end photo a tonal range that is not normally possible.

The Wombats packed it out. I liked the venue, especially the LED displays backing and above the stage - but would be happy for it to be moved for the Leftfield to be put back their again.

Tuesday start would be awesome. I'd be there for gates opening . I kind of love the Wed and Thurs full of lazy conversations and meanderings (and indulging).

BNP camp?!
We wanted to camp in Pennards this year but arrived about 1pm on Wednesday and it was already rammed. We camped in Park Home just along a bit and it was great, really chilled out

Yeah! When I saw Michael Eavis he had caviar all around his mouth and in his beard!

personally when I'm walking through a crowd and see a line of chairs with no one sat in them I just pick one up, toss it on the nearest fire/stamp on it and carry on walking through the crowd laughing to myself.

Might keep hitting it until the 2012 break and then will reevaluate. Next year is the 40th and could be special, so I'll definitely try for tickets.

I have a lot of appreciation for the litter pickers. The amount of times I saw people dropping litter feet from a bin was absolutely staggering.
The state of the site due to the gross laziness of huge swaths of fesitval goers is one of my only bugbears.

I hope the people who made the worst mess don't apply the same attitude in their towns and cities

I have to say that I really enjoyed this year - possibly my best year since 2003.

certain few people on this thread have really just f**cked me off! all the 'young kids' comments and 'its the way the festival is going' your the kids now grow up and face reality it might have been old men who were drunk and too avoid the smell they ripped off the door... who knows stop blaming!!

Still pretty altered Although I can happily function in this state (years of practice ), I'm not back at work until tomorrow .
-
Next year I fully expect to see hen parties and Stag nights around the place and that will spell the death knell for the Festival, Mr and Miss Eavis take note.
