  1. Comparing the venues they play on their own tours doesn't really apply to a festival, especially T. Kraftwerk played to a King Tut's tent that was probably 1/4 full at best, yet they would play/sell out bigger venues when doing stand alone shows.

  3. Been 8 times and camped on 5 of those occasions. Never seen any trouble in the campsite and anything in the arena is as minor as you will get, which can only be expected at a large scale event. In general the atmosphere and people at T are really friendly and happy to help each other etc.

  4. Going back to what was said on the first page of this thread.

Basically saying that if you "look at other music from 1985, this proves Prince is also shit". Ridiculous logic.

  5. ROSES REALLY SMELL LIKE POO-OO-OOO, YEAH

I think Outkast being the second last act on the Main Stage on the Saturday, with this co-headliner thing, is definitely realistic. They are big enough for that when you consider the acts that have played second from top at T in the past.

  6. Said the lineup was dreadful but had an absolutely brilliant weekend. Probably the most fun I've had at T.

The Afterburner was an amazing addition to the festival (although probably would lose its edge if it was bucketing down).

Friday: Rudimental > Jake Bugg > Jackmaster & Joy Orbison > Kraftwerk

Saturday: Maya Jane Coles > Claude Von Stroke > Miles Kane > Travis > Slam > Richie Hawtin

Sunday: Earth, Wind and Fire > Ocean Colour Scene > Disclosure > Stereophonics > Hot Natured

Travis would have been better placed headlining the NME stage on Saturday instead of Beady Eye.

  7. Last year's Friday Slam Tent only had two acts if I remember correctly - Slam and Sven Vath. Does anyone know if it's likely that Phoenix will clash with Jackmaster & Joy O?

I'm hoping that Green Velvet gets a mammoth set ie 3 hours meaning I can see Jackmaster & Joy O then jump to Tut's for Phoenix > Kraftwerk.
