  1. Bit of a lurker on here for the most part but @eastynh fair play to you, talking absolute sense here. Has anyone actually ignored their own agenda and taken a step back to look at this? The whole thing stinks. A lot of talk about bending / breaking rules but the only 'evidence' is these leaked emails, which look uncertain at best. City get what, 40-50m a year from Etihad, is that really an outrageous sponsorship deal? Etihad struggled to pay the sponsorship in 2014 and got state funding to help (not unusual, look at flybe recently).. state funding by the way, not funded from city's owner. Tbh 40-50m is a bargain to sponsor the shirt/stadium of a top club

I signed up for it about 2-3 years ago and I'm still getting the texts. Not sure how as I completely forgot what I did back then, but I definitely don't pay anything for it.

    Great news, thanks!

  4. Can anyone confirm if zapier will work beyond the free trial? Post above suggests so but has anyone actually used it for text notifications using just the free version?

my free trial is due to end next Tuesday :(

  5. Just a heads up if anyone's getting the train to/from the festival then bookings are open up to the end of June. Just sorted my trains out before they get too pricey!

(Couldn't see another topic to put this in so apologies if already mentioned!!)

the info I've had is that they will defo be on Other. I can't guarantee that info is accurate, tho my hunch is that it is.

The info I had also had them as headliners, tho that part I'm slightly more dubious about, even tho that's a perfectly reasonable slot for them to fill. I'm dubious for 2 reasons: that other info from the same direction said wiley/stormzy/etc would headline another night which doesn't appear to be correct (tho might still be), and because there's other possibilities for headlining at least as good as Justice.

Is it possible that they had justice pencilled in as other headliners but since booked another act (major lazor?). So justice are now bumped down to headline another stage? Not sure if they shuffle things around after booking bands.

How about Biffy Clyro? Everything I've read today tells me i should like them but I'm not sure I'd recognise anything.

Try only revolutions, you might recognise some of the songs on there (mountains, the captain, many of horror). Puzzle is good too, bit less mainstream and heavier (living is a problem)

  8. Haha I'm with you on the National too, glad I'm not the only one!

Anderson paak and the free nationals? Relatively high up there, never heard of them.

Moderat also seem to be getting a lot of love, recommendations?

Royal blood are playing on Friday as they're in Germany on Saturday and Sunday

Is that definite? Their tour dates just say they're playing hurricane and southside across fri 23th to sun 25th. Doesn't specify the day on there. So they might do Germany on Friday and Sunday and glasto on Saturday?
