No reason to play, but no reason not to:
Caribou
The Hold Steady (unlikely but would be good)
Silversun Pickups
The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart
Slow Club
Crystal Fighters
The Airborne Toxic Event
My Morning Jacket
The Boxer Rebellion
Explosions In The Sky
Godspeed You! Black Emperor

As crazy sad as it will be to see The Streets go they're pretty crap live and Muse are phenomenal. Plus OoS>Last chance to see.
-
Silversuns wouldn't suit lock up at all, they would suit an outdoor stage but FR subbing would be equally brilliant. They're not a big NME band so can't see them there.
-
For the record, Brian Cox will definitely be playing keyboards with BSP. So gutted I can't go, seen BSP 11 times this past 12 months, would be great to make it 12.
-
Saw them ages ago with the Kaisers, toyed with going to the Manchester gig but didn't, good to see they're still producing the same quality stuff.
-
So far no clashes that I can see unless they occur lower down, staying at NME all Friday and then going to The Horrors.
-
I'm really very happy, enough bands for me to see someone I like in every slot, that's all I ask.
-
See if that were Richey they'd be in a sea of the blood of Holocaust victims or children's tears.

with the river severn dripping from his guitar...

This may be true actually, sorry everyone.

Sounds good to me, Cribs headline slot makes Sunday night worthwhile, gonna be rammed though.
-
Lol, to be fair so did they, but they need teh monies. Hence doing fests anyway, like Rockness.
-
Old dates confused for new ones, like a boss.
-
Excellent news, their 09 set was pure brilliance.
-
Placebo would be good but they're not doing any shows this year, Interpol seem most likely.

Well yes but the comma separates the two statements. They plan to take the UK by storm but may not, however the fact that they're doing RandL and Download seems to be a fact. Surely they'd say Glastonbury as a plan?

I don't know who they are but they were featured in my local paper, probably playing the introducing

manics are top class. dont no about headling but they might be able to sub. pulp no chance

Biffy Clyro and Marina, it happened at the NME Awards, she sang Many Of Horror and it was fantastic, they're playing on the same day so might happen again.
-
Are The Horrors ruled out yet?
-
On the tour what is coming up they are rumoured to be dusting off old tracks so this may translate into a few oldies for their Reading set, maybe 3 or 4 which isn't bad.

Biffy are one of the main reasons why I'm going. They're brilliant live and I liked the new album. DOubt we'll get much old stuff though At V last year they didn't even play 57!
