Thanks guys, savings and cold hard cash are necessary then! In a credit obsessed nation that's not so easy

I reckon £50 a day covers it for me, apart from allowing for the purchase of a peace offering to take home to Mrs GH, which tends to be a bit of quality arts and crafts.
Are cards generally accepted on site, say credit card purchases of merch/ above mentioned quality arts, or is it stall by stall specific. All this talk of cash even when using the lock ups gets me nervous, got to get my wallet all the way from my front door through the gate before I can safely lock it up and I'm pants at loosing things at the best of times!

This would make my wife's year! I could tolerate it to make her happy they have some bop-able tunes I'll concede

Everyone in the field is cheering and laughing, I swear it was one of the greatest sporting achievements I have ever seen in the flesh lol, it was amazing.
Best thing was that whilst all this is going on the dealer's mate calmly strolled off into the dragon field with the bag of drugs
Sounds about right, that surely is an amusing anecdote! Pretty frustrating if you're one of the cops, they would have their work cut out at Glasto.

a little Korean wouldn't have gone amiss though, they could do better

Acoustic, back in the day (my last Glasto was '07) I literally spent the whole day in acoustic/theatre/comedy tents with maybe a quick jolt to the other stage for 1 or 2 bands. Glorious.
Whilst there's certainly more to tempt me this time round I'm pretty sure acoustic will still take up the majority of my time

When should you keep an eye on your cheese?
When it's up to no Gouda

I'll most likely be based in The Croissant Neuf Field in The Greenfields so they can be picked up from there.
Might try to sort out some other little depot on site and if there are enough pre orders will try to do a delivery run to the CV fields on the Tuesday.
Awesome count me in for a pre-order then

They look wonderful... But heavy, you wheelbarrow them onto site for us as well dusty? don't ask for much eh?

Saw him in '07 acoustic stage, was just a wonderful set. Recon it was the year he and Lisa split, Lisa was supposed to play earlier on in the day but was a no show. Would be nice to see him in my first Glastonbury since then but oh well! It'll live on for me

Seems a little weird to make a thing of booking women in 'prominent' positions.
I mean, surely they're in those positions because they're making good, popular music (and they just happen to be women...) If not it's just positive discrimination and, well... that sucks.
A lot was made last year if the main uk festivals booking so few women/leaving them out of the advertising posters, there'll be an onus this year to give credit where credit is due
the best cover of all time?

Maybe not THE best cover of all time but this makes me immensely happy, that's what covers are about right? And my two cents; I loved it when the white stripes didn't change jolene pronouns, gay = awesome plus obviously it would ruin such a magnificent song but that goes without saying, I'm super appreciative about same sex songs, cos there ain't enough of em!
