Yorfest 2016

Yorfest is back for a 2nd year, happening from noon on Saturday 24th September 2016 at York Racecourse Field, in York.

Line-up

Yorfest has two stages and over 24 live acts performing during the day, which is on the Bustardthorpe field, adjacent to York Racecourse from noon.

Main Stage: The Lightning Seeds, The Rifles, Slow Readers Club, Glass Caves, Jade Assembly, Stray Scene, Late Night Legacy, Leathernecks, Lost Trends, Black Lagoons, Naked Six, and Moth Loves The Flame.

Acoustic Stage: Twinnie Lee Moore, Kat McHugh, Robbie Page, Sam Wright, Becca Clarke, Jack Parker, Chloe Conroy, and Danny Macaw.

Tickets are £20 for adults and over 16’s, £10 for under 16’s and those under 10 are FREE with a full paying adult.

As Racecourse Road will be closed to Festival traffic, All vehicular traffic will only be able to drop off and pick up at the 'kidney' island near to Knavesmire Road.

Yorfest will be supporting two charities - St Leonard’s Hospice, and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance in 2016.

As well as the music there will be locally sourced food available, and local real ale, as well as two on-site bars.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
