Yorfest 2015

Yorfest is a new festival which bills itself as "a Yorkshire Festival, with Yorkshire bands for Yorkshire people" happening from noon on Saturday 26th September 2015 at York Racecourse Field, in York.

The Pigeon Detectives, The Sunshine Underground, The Sherlocks, Apollo Junction, Stop Drop Robot, Alvarez Kings, Other Peoples Lives, and Alan Lewis.

Tickets are priced at £15 for adults (aged over 16s), and £13 for concessions (under 16s/Over 65s) .

As Racecourse Road will be closed to Festival traffic, All vehicular traffic will only be able to drop off and pick up at the 'kidney' island near to Knavesmire Road.

Yorfest will be supporting two charities -  the Alzheimer’s Society, and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance in 2015.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
