Wirral Folk on the Coast 2013


The ninth Wirral Folk on the Coast Festival takes place from Thursday 6th to Sunday 9th June 2013 at the Whitby Sports & Social Club, Chester Road, Whitby, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. Mini concerts will also take place in The Oak Room and The President's Lounge, with Marie's Marquee and the Marketplace Marquee hosting numerous fringe activities, workshops and rolling folk clubs.

Tickets

An adult full weekend ticket is priced at £70 (No concessions), and camping is available for Weekend ticket holders only.

A child (7 to 17yrs) mini weekend ticket is priced at £35. Children under 7 can attend for free.

Friday evening only concert tickets are priced at £18, a Saturday day ticket is priced at £32, a Saturday or Sunday afternoon ticket is priced at £15, and Saturday evening tickets are priced at £16. Sunday evening tickets are priced at £18.

On site

Festival goers will also be able to enjoy a Ceilidh, a late night extra dance with the The Blue Pig Orchestra after the main concert on the Saturday evening, dance displays and workshops, a craft fair, free concerts, instrument workshops, 'Chance To Meet', rolling folk club sessions, story-telling, and large fringe activities.

Camping

Camping is restricted to Weekend Ticket holders only. The campsite will be on well-drained fields to the rear of the premises which also includes a large hardstanding area. Access will be from gates on Dunkirk Lane. The campsite has toilets, and showers.
