The Wirral Folk on the Coast Festival takes place from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th June at the OC Sports and Leisure Club site in Bridle Rd, Bromborough, Wirral
There are 5 concerts taking place in the main concert hall - Knockaloe Suite (Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and evening, Sunday afternoon and evening) and a free concert will also take place in the upstairs lecture room on Saturday evening.
Show Of Hands with Miranda Sykes are confirmed as headliners, with Gordon Giltrap, Mike Silver, Kerfuffle, Churchfitters, Shona Kipling & Damien O'Kane, Anthony John Clarke, Les Barker, Stanley Accrington, Elbow Jane, Chris Moreton, Joe Topping, The Bogtrotters, Ruth Fuga & Ken Powell, Loctup Together, Fiddlestone, Finnan, Welcomme & Chrimes, and Shellback Chorus, also confirmed.
Festival goers will also be able to enjoy dance teams, a craft fair, free concerts, workshops, rolling folk club sessions and large fringe activities. The O.C Sports and Leisure Club site has a campsite, showers, toilets, food available all day, and a bar and restaurant.
CAMPING The campsite opens on 5th June and has toilets, and showers. Camping is included in the weekend ticket price.
Early bird weekend tickets were available for sale.
