The White Air Extreme Sports Festival has run for 11 years, but this is only the second year they have introduced a music stage to the event. The event takes place from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st September 2008 at Yaverland Beach, on the Isle of Wight.

Saturday night headliners are the Pigeon Detectives on the live stage with Rob Da Bank on the decks till late! Other confirmed artists include The Operators, Sam Isaac, Bastila, Mamas Gun, The Kurves, Wild Oats, Bethan Ellis, Me and My Sister, Lucid, Guy Page Trio, Ffred Jones, and Wild Mercury Sound. Ticket options include £18 adult weekend 3 day tickets (£10 for under 15s), under 7s are Free, or a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) weekend ticket for £49.50. Day tickets are priced at Adult £7, Youth £4, Family £20 and are also available on the door subject to numbers. The Saturday evening live stage and party requires a separate ticket priced at £15 for adults. Combined Saturday day and evening tickets are priced at £20. To buy tickets click here.

Last year the event attracted more than 500 competitors and 50,000 spectators to the three day event which had two nights of live music and parties right in the main village at White Air on the beach.

The rest of the festival includes Championship events + 18 of the top sports and spectacular international events, a trade expo, displays from the top extreme sportsmen, a Red Arrows display, meet the Red Arrows pilots, and an RAF Falcons world parachute display.

The event will also have family areas, bar, and food village. There will be a limited entry each day on capacity.

This event has no on site camping, there are plenty of accommodation options nearby.
